The Loft is a nice cosy cafe good selection of dishes always plenty of options on the specials board as well .
Lovely friendly staff only downside is it is upstairs with no other access
Very fresh and tasty soup with sandwiches and just the right amount of salad. Everything is clean, including the ???? Definitely will go again. Thanks to all the lovely, friendly ladies.
This is quite lovely sitting above a charming shop.
It has a warm ambiance welcoming even when eating alone. Anyone in area could do a lot worse when needing a value for money meal or simply a Wee Cup of Tea.......what would you say to a wee cup of tea? “Hello wee cup of Tea.......”
Lovely food always enjoyed and good service.
We went for breakfast as a change to our usual place. Wish we had not bothered. We were greeted with a sit where you like!! No hello. Then as soon as we sat down menus were put down and we were asked what we wanted to eat before we had chance to look at the menu..We ordered poached eggs and they all came fried. When I inquired about the mistake the waitress rolled her eyes and said it would be 15 minutes before we could have fresh poached eggs. There was only the 3 of us in at this point of time. We declined due to the waitresses attitude. My mother in law asked politely for another coffee and was sighed at. At this point we decided to leave. Very nice restaurant inside. Such a shame on waitress for bad attitude. We won't be returning
I just stopped by today for a quick lunch break for my little boy. Friendly service as always. Our food was cooked fresh to order and the staff were really helpful. One of our favourite little cafes.
Friendly small cafe. Great for tea / coffee and cake / snacks. A good all day breakfast and other main meals. all of which are freshly prepared. A local haunt for us. Don't worry, it's OK to walk through the furniture shop (Grandad She'd) to then climb the stairs this cafe. Recommended.
Good food in pleasant surroundings. Friendly and efficient staff. Quick service. Reasonable prices. Will go again ????
