Just visited for a consultation for starter locs for my daughter about an hour and a half ago. Everyone there is so friendly. EVERYONE greeted us when we arrived, and EVERYONE wishes us a good weekend as we left. Made an appointment, and looking forward to getting her hair done in such a friendly atmosphere.
This was my first time there..got loc extension. Russell did my hair he was very nice..all the staff was nice. The shop was clean. They wiped down the chairs.it wasn't crowded..no more than 3 customers at a time. I differently recommending this spot.
All I needed was a touch up. They wanted a consultation before appointment.

I came for starter locs. My time there was ok only in the fact that there was someone available to start my locs. The guy that did my locs was rushing because he had to pick someone up that he was bringing back to the shop. I only know because he mentioned it a few times and kept checking the time. I let him know that I had locs once before and showed him a picture of what I was trying to get back to. I thought that’s where I was heading from the looks of my locs with him. From the front, my hair looked fine when he was done BUT when I got home I noticed that the base of my parts in the back of my head where I couldn’t see in the shop were very large in comparison to the locs in the front. The feeling of being rushed whether or not he was rushing me was felt. I paid and canceled my next appointment although I wasn’t in the country it wasn’t in my interest to return. I wish the shop well.
The energy and atmosphere in the salon and from the workers was very unfriendly and dark for starters. Russell's inparticular gave us flippy floppy service, doing what he wanted when he felt like it and ignoring what was requested by the customer. He always had an I don't care attitude which is not a good attitude in a business servicing peoples hair. I will never seek service here anymore nor will I recommend ????i
We were taking on a last-minute appointment bases, very appreciative for that, the shop is nice and the location is nice. The shop owner is nice as well. The lock quality however was not that great, locks were not twisted that tight, didn't look like they had just been done
I love the Loc Spot, I can get my hair done and expect perfection. I have been going to the Loc Spot for over 5 years and the same service of great energy.
