Neat place. I ordered their lobster ravioli and it was delicious. I dont remember our servers name, but he was great.
There were only a couple of customers when we had our early dinner so the service was good. The lobster bisque was great! Shrimp and scallops pasta was good too! My wife loved the lobsters!
Came here while passing through Lake, George and we’re excited to have some lobster. Sat on the patio. Took about 10 minutes for a server to arrive at our table to greet us and then another 10 minutes to get one glass of Prosecco. We ordered a lobster and a prime rib for our main dishes, the lobster was lukewarm , dirty, and very bland. I finished half of it and felt nauseous. The prime rib we ordered was requested to be medium rare and came out medium to medium well. Up to this point our server was very kind and helpful but when we asked for it to be remade, she started to have an attitude with us and stood there staring blankly at us unapologetically like it was our fault, though we were being apologetic. The next steak took under five minutes to come out, which felt very sketchy, but decided to try it while she hovered over us until a bite was taken out of the steak to ask how it was, the next steak was cooked on one side and raw on the other side, drenched in watery warm juices with a gray hue to it both times. At this point we really were unappetized and didn’t finish any more of our food and just ask for the check. She then started questioning with an attitude what the problem was, my partner mentioned that she was also a chef at a restaurant and it’s just not cooked the way that it should be it was not seasoned, the quality was horrible for a $40 meal. When we got the check, she asked if we wanted a box and we told her no and she goes “if you’re a chef, how do you cook it then? “Which was completely inappropriate and rude. We left feeling extremely uncomfortable, and as we were walking out, the hostesses were clapping never coming back to this horrible establishment again. One positive is she took the steak off the bill we tipped 20% of the original amount because we are in the service industry but overall aside from the food being disgusting the server was extremely rude and confrontational as if the experience wasn’t uncomfortable for us already.
Husband and I are visiting from MI and drove by this place. We were hesitant at first to go because of some of the reviews. We both wanted seafood and said let's go. We were both very happy we did. Service was great and so was the meal. We had the bacon wrapped scallops for a appetiser and we split the Lobster Pot. So glad we split it because we had two shrimps we couldn't even finish, everything was really good. My favorite was the clam chowder, king crab and shrimp. My husbands favorite was the lobster, king crab, clams and shrimp. Would definitely go back.
Very good experience. I read the reviews but I figured I'd give it a shot. We definitely enjoyed our meal!
Ambiance: very cool vibe, neat decor
Drinks: good martins but they need fill up the glass if you're gonna charge $$$
Food: Delmonico steak- cooked perfectly and very good. NY strip very good cut and cooked perfectly. Lobster was also very good.
Appetizer- fried calamari was excellent strongly reccomend.
Prices- a little high but normal for the tourist area of LG.
The food was good, the waitress was nice, the service was awful, drinks took over 30 minutes to come, refills on alcohol took another 35, food was late, orders and sides were missing. Place needs a new bar manager and maybe kitchen manager. Wouldn’t recommend
Was worried after the reviews, but couldn’t be happier with this place. The waitress was so good with our toddler, the food was delicious. We just had a great night. Highly recommend!
So I was going to say how the food was very good and waitress was very nice and attentive. But from the time we walked in other customers were complaining very loudly. I overlooked the man screaming about I believe his $5 for extra rice.???? But the couple across from us that ate 90 % of their meals were so loud and obnoxious I couldn’t enjoy my very $$ dinner. The waitress was literally screaming at them at the top of her lungs. Omg… escort them out and have management deal with them!! The manager was trying but failing at keeping situation under control. ???? It was so upsetting I started to feel sick and couldn’t finish my dinner. Too bad because our food was good.
