Quite wonderful. Super friendly owners serving wonderful homemade quiches with salad and relishes. Good prices and very quaint.
This place is amazing. The food is delicious, the couple who run it are so friendly (and have no qualms about cooking up a burger at 10AM) and the place has a great vibe. Was an oasis of calm and sustenance for an exhausted and famished walker. I''ll be recommending The Little Kitchen to all of my mates back in Glasgow and hopefully I'll stop by again one day (maybe after a trip to Bute, as per the owners' suggestion?)
Four of us popped in for a bite to eat on the way back to Rothesay. Lovely and clean and the toilets were spotless! Great menu considering the size of the place. We ordered paninis which tasted lovely, the presentation was really nice and the prices were very reasonable. They also had homemade cakes and scones but we were full with what we had. The owners were really friendly and I would definitely recommend eating here if you’re in this neck of the woods....it’s on the main road so you shouldn’t miss it.
Stopped here for lunch, delicious food very well presented, good menu and reasonable prices...Scott & Lynn we're very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this cafe to anyone traveling around this part of Scotland. We will definitely come back next time we are in the area.
End of season so no choice of where to eat...The Little Kitchen was open. I do struggle for eating in way out places, being coeliac. I happily ordered a salad and my partner a quiche. Upon discovering my condition the lovely couple offered to do me a Gluten Free Panini. Amazing friendly service and food is excellent too.
Really friendly cafe with excellent food. We stopped for lunch and had delicious soup. They also had sandwiches and cakes that all looked tempting. Quite a find as we weren't expecting to see anywhere to eat in this fairly remote corner.
Great Post office and they stock fishing equipment, cards , drinks, paint , the list goes on. And it has 50% off all cards , fishing stuff and much more for a week or so till new owners take over. They have big boots to fill as Heather and Her mum and dad are VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY so come say hi before they go x
Friendly place to grab a bite to eat. Friendly couple who prepare really fresh delicious panini's and other tastey treats. From home made soup to great smelling home made soap and other neat little items for sale too. Would recommend a visit if you are passing. Drop in have lunch, a pot of tea or a nice latte.
