Very nice and cosy pub. The food was excellent with a small but expertly done homemade menu, with enough variety for meat dishes alongside vegetarian options. The sizes of the dishes were well worth the price alongside being rather good. The landlord and staff were very friendly and welcoming, alongside their lovely dog. Overall a top notch experience on a rainy day.
Lovely food, owners very friendly, accomodating for the kids. Honest prices. Thanks guys!
No stars were given as we stopped to see if they were still doing food ( about 8 pm on a Thursday), a man, guessing he was the landlord, very rudely stating it was too quite to do food, and too hot so no-one wanted to eat out( well we did) no wonder it was so quite every time we passed. If thats his attitude. The new Inn a bit up the road was excellent with their food and service so would recommend you eat their instead.
Went here for a family Sunday lunch. Food was nice. I opted for the small plate roast beef which was plenty. Really nice country pub atmosphere which is a refreshing change from the large pub chains
Fabulous, generous Sunday lunch. Warm, friendly service. Love it here x
Staff helpful
Food very good and large helpings. Good value
Great home cooked food and local real ale. Would highly recommend
Absolutely awful service. The landlord and staff are very rude. Not welcoming what so ever I would highly recommend visiting somewhere else just a couple of minutes up the road there is a great family friendly pub that is very welcoming called the new Inn. Avoid this lamb at Weare like the plague.
