Well... atmosphere is party like not really a restaurant but it's ok to look around. I'm not sure if their main focus was on club like place or if they were going for bar not so sure. I'm not trying to put down this place because I like local restaurants that can offer something different that's right next to a wendys.
Service unfortunately was not good, the time to get our food was over an hour and she tried to reassure us then pursue to give us an excuse about the system they had that just was confusing, she offered us something free which was the lemonade and I see that the lemonade was complimentary on google but I'm with my wife and babies that just wanted to eat.
Now the food, I mean it was good, she didn't follow my order correctly but oh well, I inform you that you should probably order something that's not mac and chicken. You can probably make that at home. They have some cool ideas and are definitely trying something different and I applaud for that.
I'll come back and hopefully it's a different experience and will update my review.
PROs: Friendly staff. Funky ambience. Plenty to choose from off the menu.
CONs: Parking is tight. Wait time was over 20 mins & we were the only customer in the dining room. We had to ask for our 1 soda after receiving the meal.
$20 (this included a tip) for overloaded fries and 1 drink. Our son was hungry after a job fair and he chose this place that was close by. My husband was not happy about the long wait time and stated we could've just gone home to cook this dish. Well we wanted to support local businesses. Sadly, this is one business we will not return to. Best of luck.
I love the atmosphere. There's plenty of seating. There's a lot to look at and the food is great! This is my first time coming and I am impressed. Highly recommend the cabbage bowl! But all the portions are large and the staff is friendly!
Kind of a small place can be little loud at times with the music but there is seating !! Food was amazing! Do not order their premade drinks have your bartender make it! The premade drinks are like juice (weak) thankfully the bartender brought our food and explained everything before I ordered again! She changed our experience and made everything amazing (down to the last detail)!
went in to watch the game and have drink’s everything was great from the atmosphere to the staff I must say awesome! It was cold out and I got the Shrimp ramen bowel . If I wasn’t a lady I would have licked the bowel! It was just that tasty. The chicken wings delicious and crispy! The drinks on point! I recommend going you won’t be sorry! Oh and took funnel cakes home for the kiddos (banana pudding and cherries and cream) they loved it!
So happy that this spot landed in Raytown! We loved everything about our first visit. The atmosphere is welcoming and very unique. They have put thought into every little detail. The service could not have been better and the food was fresh and delicious. Although the the things we ended up ordering could be considered ordinary, there was nothing ordinary about the quality and taste. The fries got a side eye at first, but they were so good! FRESH! The wings made me want to try all the flavors. The onion rings had a great breading and the breaded pickles were a little thicker than most places which made them even better. I did not try the BLT, but my friend gave it two thumbs up. I will definitely be back and hope everyone local gives it a try so that it’s a place we can keep around. For non-locals….it’s worth the drive!
We had a group go here to try it out, and we were extremely pleased! I ordered the whiskey glazed wings with yams as a side. The yams were amazing: that is exactly how I want my yams! The wings were also incredible, but I really didn't taste the sauce much. That didn't matter because the batter alone was just incredible. Someone else got the sweet and spicy wings, and when I make it there again, I'll get that sauce on the side. The wings don't need sauce, but that was very very good. I also got the salmon bites, and I'd characterize them as very similar to fried catfish my grandma used to make - which is a heck of a compliment! - but with that slightly different salmon taste. They come glazed with that sweet and spicy sauce, and I loved it! (Just like with the chicken, they don't need sauce, but it's just a bit better with it.) Next time I'm getting the funnel cake; someone in my group got it, and it looked amazing and he raved about it. Two people in our group got burgers, and they both loved them. Note: the funnel cake bun is good, but it's nearly impossible to eat it in one piece.
Come hang out in cool atmosphere and get kravable food!! I had the ramen bowl and a lemonade and it was delicious!!! The staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely be back!!
