Friendly man running the kiosk and reasonable cost for ice-creams (approx £10 far a family of 4). I like that they take card payments as I don't tend to carry cash anymore.
Small seating area by the kiosk too
Very friendly little place run by an elderly couple who have a lot of time for people. Warm, inviting and they make great home made flapjacks, pastries and little hot meals. The coffee is great too! They are more than happy to explain the local park and other places to people who are new to the area.
Visiting Colwick was a real pleasure. When we had our dogs we would visit at least once a week but now it's 2 or 3 times a year. The cafe is a much needed addition to the park
Lovely friendly guy, really well made coffees and hot chocolate and homemade cakes! Forgot to take pics of the cakes but we had a biscoff and a Nutella flapjack and they were so nice. 100% recommend.
Nice kiosk to get a drink, coffee or an ice cream. Decent prices and very friendly staff. Just by the small car park as you come in.
A great little stop to get an ice cream, coffee, sandwich, or pastry and overlook the lovely waters in Colwick Park. Just be aware that there is a bit of a shortage of chairs.
Paul and his wife Carol who run the kiosk were friendly, extremely helpful and happy to chat and ensure my experience of the park and all the activities there was as good as it can be. They sell a wide range of hot and cold drinks, ice creams and ice lollies as well as a selection of hot and cold food from bacon or sausage cobs and subs with fillings including tuna mayo to suit all tastes and dietary requirement to muffins and snacks. There is even a choice of different treats for our doggy companions.E verything on sale was extremely good value for money with by far the best prices anywhere within Colwick Country Park or Holme Pierrepoint Country Park next door. To find your way around the kiosk has available free of charge a detailed high quality full colour map of all the paths and trails in the park as used by accurate competitive orienteers. The kiosk is a central information point at the main entrance to the park and has a host of information regarding spotting and identifying bird species and fishing access amongst the multiplicity of lakes and watercourses in the park.
Visited here at the weekend to pick up a hot cuppa to enjoy on a walk around the park. The coffee I had was spot on and the service very friendly. Will definitely call again when in the park
