I got both my sons and daughters hair cut here for the first time after seeing so many great reviews idk if I just got the stylist who’s new or who was just having a bad day. To start my daughter’s hair was to her lower back and had decided to cut it short which was already a big decision. I couldn’t tell u the stylist name as I was never given one. However It looks like she hacked away at my daughter’s beautiful hair. I asked for an angled bob not to go above her shoulders in length. What I got was this and a very upset daughter and having to put out even more money to get it fixed. Will not be returning again. A waste of $40+ and a very upset momma.
My kids really enjoyed their girl's day out at the salon. Both girls got their hair washed, one got a cut, the other a trim and they both got some colored hair extensions added. To finish off the style, sparkle spray and scented hair perfume (they chose watermelon) were used. My girls would love to come back here and want a manicure, pedicure and an up do. Prices are very reasonable and the staff are friendly and worked very well with my girls and the little babies that were also there getting first haircuts.
This was my son’s first hair cut. What a great experience! They were so great with him and the first hair cut package was perfect for that sentimental mom like me. Highly recommend Sheena and the place.
We've had a few very good experiences here! We first took my 7.5 year old for a hair cut. The stylist was patient with her, asked her opinion, asked me my opinion, and truly listened. My daughter can be anxious and they made her feel comfortable and welcome. They finished off her style with a cute braid, glitter spay, and hair scent spray, and they even offered the scent spray to my other little ones who tagged along. We just brought my nearly 3 y/o twin girls for their first hair cuts and again had a great experience. They took them 1 at a time and again were patient and accommodating. The first twin was a bit nervous but did ok, and they were patient with her in getting her to keep her head down/still. They allowed me to help and suggested a few tricks to get her to do what they needed. The 2nd twin was very nervous and ended up having a bit of a melt down with some big emotions. They gave her the time that she needed to process everything, let me have time to talk things through with her, and let me sit with her to keep her calm. They did her cut SO quickly and it still came out amazing. She did eventually relax enough for the braid and sparkle spray and even let them take her picture for her certificate.
They are warm and friendly, the salon is clean, there's always a fun movie or show playing, there are video games for the kids while they wait, and lollipops for a treat at the end! Prices are reasonable and they offer fun services like little kid mani/pedis and make up! We are grateful a friend recommended this place to us and we will definitely be back!
Best kid salon in town !! These stylist were the absolute BEST!! Very patient, friendly, kind, and caring. They talked to the kids and made them feel like a prince or princess.
Not to mention the salon is a kid salon heaven!! Very fun, vibrant and interactive!!
AMAZING experience!!! We brought my 3 year old daughter to the kids spot salon for her first hair cut. The owner did an amazing job cutting and styling her hair in a beautiful braid. My daughter felt like a princess. Best hair cut experience ever! We will definitely go back soon ????
Amazing place! The women working were so welcoming, friendly, and patient. I wish I got their names so I could request next time. One did my daughters hair and another did my younger sons first hair cut and they kept him SO CALM. They both took their time with both kids. We will definitely be returning customers!
