The jerk pork tacos were absolutely the most delicious tacos we've ever had!!! They had a perfect blend of cheese and salsa, to compliment the jerk pork. We also had the jerk pork with plantains and rice which was superb.
This place is such a hidden gem! We stopped after finding this on Google and were not disappointed. You get a lot of food for the price and everything is cooked right there. The meat was so tender it was falling off of the bone. The potato salad was incredible. The mac and cheese was so creamy and one of the best ones I've had a restaurant. If you're in the area you'll have to stop by. It is a small place but there's more seating at the place next door.
Awesome food. Highly recommend the curry goat. The authenticity, rich flavor and spice rings through every bite. Mind you it is spicy probably due to to cumin, allspice and turmeric without being hot.
The jerk chicken was decent too but if you have to choose a dish take the goat.
The accompaniments like plantains and rice are superb too.
Absolutely ridiculous. We came all the way from Sweden for a business trip in Orlando and decided to drive south and it was definitely worth it as a way point during our visit to Key west. This is a must if you're in the area. The venue is small and the seating is limited but the food is crazy ????
We stumbled into The Jerk after another restaurant we wanted to try had closed early. We are glad it did close because food at The Jerk was fantastic.
Both of us got the jerk chicken with various sides. Both trays came out loaded with meat and sides and we couldn’t even finish our food. The jerk chicken had a great flavor and was real moist. The jerk bbq sauce was a great compliment to it.
This restaurant sits right off of Durval Street and is a nice quiet place to eat. Highly recommend going here if you’re in the area and want good food for a reasonable price.
I love grabbing Caribbean food when I get a chance. Sometimes that leads disappointment in this case I was enthusiastic about how fantastic the product was. The owner was respectful and quick. Plus you were immediately entranced by tantalizing aromatics. Great, I did half jerk chicken and half jerk pork.
Best jerk chicken I ever had! It tasted even better than in Jamaica. So much flavour and perfect balance of spiciness. I really recommend it
I walked in after my wife pointed out the small sign for Jamaican food. Small counter for takeout service. Smelled wonderful but no one in sight. After checking the menu on chalk boards for a few minutes a person came out to help us. I asked what was really good and the guy said it all was good. I said tell me your top three. He replied that since it wasn't that busy he would make me a sampler plate. We had awesome grid chicken, jerk pork bites, fried sweet plantains, beans and rice and BBQ ribs. All of it was well worth the wait and price.
