The Jax Shack! Y’all…. I cannot explain in words how amazing this place is! The owners are constantly feeding my wife, when she’s running her route. She then brings it home so I can have some and this just blows me away! Pure talent as a chef! 100/10 recommend this place. You can’t go wrong with whatever you choose! Yummy is an understatement!!!
First time going to Jax Shack. The food was delicious. I got the chicken bacon ranch wrap, potatoe soup, and cheesecake. There are lots of cold food options that are prepackaged for a quick grab-and-go.
Being that this is a new restaurant, they are doing really great. The restaurant is very clean, cashier is very polite. No indoor seating but outdoor there is a lot of seating (picnic tables, kids picnic table, tables and bar style seating).
Some things the business can work on is providing a water dispenser (they do have a bottled drink fridge and other beverage options), providing more hot food options like pasta etc, providing a few coffee options.
I will definitely be back. Loved it.
I have been to the restaurant many times, I’m never disappointed. The food and atmosphere is always amazing. The owners truly care for their customers. I would also highly recommend their catering options. They go above and beyond to make sure your day is special.
We love this place! It’s a lovely place with perfect tables to eat outside, amazing drinks, DELICIOUS food (specifically the pimento cheese and pepper jelly sandwich with bacon), not to mention the amazing cheesecakes and their variety. Overall best place to eat in homer. 100% worth the trip over. Not to mention Bedford is an amazing, kind friend to all who walk through the doors. Big thank you to the amazing staff as well!
I visited The Jax Shack today for lunch and had the chicken salad croissant and also got a bowl each of the broccoli cheddar and loaded potato soup for tomorrow’s lunch! The croissant paired with the pink lemonade were absolute perfection!! Portion size was generous and filling! You definitely get your moneys worth! Everyone was so friendly and sweet! I cannot wait for my next stop!
Amazing family owned small business with great food and desserts. 7$ get you a 4 slice quesadilla"half" and $12 gets you a "full" 8 slice quesadilla, the amount of chicken bacon and cheese inside is perfect. And their cheese cakes are a great variety, haven't tried any of their cold dishes but will soon
The Jax Shack has the absolute BEST cheesecake and food. I work at the Homer Family Chiropractor and we eat at the Jax shack every Tuesday and Thursday we love it so much. I was just in there this Thursday getting us some lunch, and had the best talk with one of the bosses she is the sweetest person. We absolutely love the quesadillas and the chicken salad croissant. I also picked up some cute shirts while I was in there, and also the cookie dough cheesecake is the best. If you haven’t had the chance to go check them out you are missing out on some great food.
