I just want to say a big thank you to the team the quality is always bang on and the service is always up top pat your selves on the back i enjoyed my fish bite meal as you can see i cleaned the whole lot???????????? would highly recommend i seriously dont go to any other chipshop unless its these guys
I asked for chicken to be wrapped separately to my chips so my wife who's vegetarian could share. I was told this was not possible. The person serving me continue to awkwardly explain why. This is not an unreasonable request to ask for chips to be wrapped separately. Instead they made out like I was asking the world. I also didn't like the motive of wanting to charge me separately for chips which would have cost more and therefore I felt like they were trying to get money out of me. I would have ordered more but to make a deal out of this like they did saying it was unreasonable on Friday night to expect chips to be wrapped separately was wrong and poor customer service.
Had chicken fillet and chips from here regularly. Last 2 occasions it been hard a chewy . It’s been frozen I think and cooked . That leave one corner very hard and cooked but uedible. Also plain chips nice but battered chips very greasy.
Went in with my child a few times never had a problem but asked the server today to put the sausage seperate to the chips. Have had this many times. But today was told no this is not possible. And if it was in a seperate paper bag I need to pay more. Absolutely ridiculous was told by the ladies this was the owners decision. Well Mr Owner you have lost a regular customer over a paper bag. Shame really as the food was spot on. The staff can only do what the owner tells them to so no hard feelings to them. Obviously I left my order and fish at £8 and went else where. As walking out the gentleman said he could give it now only after I mentioned I would leave a review. It also looks like I am not the only one. Shame really as I even mentioned I come in few times a week. Your loss is someone else’s gain.
Very disappointed with quality of food, which usually is good. Plain chips reheated multiple times, donner meat ruined with generous serving of mint sauce. Disgusting. I dont understand why the staff wear hair nets at all either especially as they only use to cover bun woth rest of the hair hanging down and out. Will not be using again.

Had a new refurb and visited as my local chippy for a while.
Has generally been a decent chip shop but lately has been some hit-and-miss moments. (Picture of battered cheesy chips, not much cheese in general and lots of small batter mix at bottom)
Overall more hit so worth going....
Five out of five for me. Had a sausage and chips dinner which was delightful. It’s been a long time since I have been to a “chippy” and got some good “salt n vinegar” chips with some batter ones at the bottom and the sausage was great really enjoyed it.
Price was cheap as-well, speedy quick service, spotless clean and great service from lovely smiling staff.
