Excellent food. I had the mashed potatoes with cabbage and green onion as a side to my medium banger burger. The mashed potatoes had just the right amount of butter. A perfect portion and a match made in heave with the Banger Burger! The burger was cooked just right, and the sausage on it was delicious.
Riley, our server was amazing. She gave us ample time to overlook our menus. E everything from appetizers to entrees and drinks came out in a timely fashion, and Riley made sure we were ok!
Chill vibes and good seating allowed for a comfortable space to eat. Live music for outside seating was great, and just the right noose level for me to hear my fellow friends.
First time visiting the Irishman and really enjoyed the food! There's a good kids menu. Fish on the tacos was fresh and crispy! Kids enjoyed the pizza and chicken fingers. Luckily made it in before the rush so go early and have a few drinks!
Enjoyed dinner at the Irishman Pub this evening. Dylan was our server. He was extremely attentive and helpful. The food was excellent, I had the bangers and mash with a Harp beer. Everyone at my table was satisfied with everything. Will return in the future.
It was during lent and a Friday and I just could not decide what to eat. Although I am not an adventurous person, I ordered the fish taco which I never had in my life. It was delicious. What a great thought, fry the fish put it in a taco shell and add the cole slaw without anything on it except adding tartar sauce. Fantastic idea and nice atmosphere.
I got a Cesar salad with chicken added. Considering the additional cost, they did not add very much chicken. The salad was OK, not great, and probably a poor choice given the menu options. The waitress seemed a little annoyed, I felt like I was inconveniencing her by existing. It was weird. I'm wondering if she assumed I would be a lower tip because I wasn't ordering a ton, and I was by myself. Everything was fine, but I won't rush back. There are some fantastic restaurants on this strip of Main Street, and The Irishman just wasn't impressive.
Edited to add: The management reached out and was amazingly proactive. I'm planning to head back and give The Irishman another shot.
Great place to go to for lunch. Have been 3 times and food is always great. Atmosphere is dark like and old Irish pub. Service is prompt but once our order was delivered, it took awhile to get the attention of our server. Never had a bad meal!
Phenomenal experience at The Irishman. Excellent food, superb service, and an outstanding atmosphere. We we're visiting from Cleveland and picked them from a list of local restaurants, and we obviously made the right choice! Next time we're in Buffalo, we'll definitely head back there. Thanks much for a great experience!
Ended up at this pub to end our night and we were very happy we did! Drew was very sweet and pleasant. They and great food options but we only ended up getting the fries and the Irish spring rolls which were awesome. They also have a great option to make your own flight which helps you try 4 beers if you aren’t able to make up your mind. All the cocktails we tried were great as well, but I definitely preferred the beers.
