Sheppards pie is amazing, Patrick Burger is phenomenal seriously one of the best burgers I’ve had. The Reuben rolls were great too.
Our waitress was great she was attentive with the drinks and kept them coming. Overall a heck of a good Irish pub. The atmosphere and music is really good too
Stopped in for a quick bite before heading back to PA. Had the fried chicken sandwich, Shepherds pie and Reuben rolls. Simply amazing!
Great happy hour spot! Fish and chips were fantastic, service was better than most of the places and Guinness was smooth.
Chef Richard did awesome on the fish n chips with a great assist from Ronnnie on some off the chain fries. Jay took great care of our stouts and bitters. Jay has a true authentic pour on the stout. Took me back to the London pubs of my youth. Absolutely recommend the you DON'T MISS THIS PUB!!!!!
Top five best burgers I’ve ever had. SOOO GOOD! Cool atmosphere.
My only complaint, and it’s a minor one, is that the open door and windows meant that there were more bugs flying about than I’d like.
But even so, I’d come back.
I've enjoyed many restaurants in National Harbor but my very best experience occurred at The Irish Whisper. I enjoyed a great conversation with the bartender while waiting for my to-go order and could tell that the pub is welcoming to both locals and visitors. After an unfortunate incident outside of the pub the kindness made a terrible Tuesday into a terrific one. Cannot recommend enough!
I ordered the chicken pot pie which came with a salad, while the flavor was not bad it felt more like I ordered a salad which came with a small chicken pot pie. Basically a twenty dollar snack. I had to go back home and eat a pizza afterwards to feel more full. Probably would not come back again to be honest
Traditional Irish pub. Ambiance is your typical dark, loud bar scene. Have to talk loudly to have a conversation in here. Football game was playing. Stopped in for an Irish red ale and a pretzel. The pretzel was fresh, soft and tasty with the beer cheese. 15% gratuity is automatically added to your bill.
