Best KPortal Reviews
Liked: Proprietor was friendly and helpful, lovely secluded site but easy access to everything in the area. Glorious dawn and dusk chorus from the local bird life.
Disliked: Only the fairly basic (but entirely adequate) facilities and the midges in the morning.
Liked: Mark the owner was extremely helpful. Given the recent bad weather the pitches were wet but well drained. Great location, very quiet and toilet block was clean. Would stay again.
Disliked: Nil
Just returned from a great stay at this wonderful campsite! Lovely place and a lovely owner. I would thoroughly recommend here to anyone. Will definitely return. Many thanks Mark
Liked: Mark is a great owner, he's very welcoming. Nice quiet campsite with nice hot showers.
Disliked: Nothing
Liked: Very warm welcome when I arrived and offered a choice of pitches.
The site was nice and quite.
Had lovely large toilet / shower units with plenty of hot water, these were clean whenever I visited.
Excellent location for clay trails, SW coast path and visiting St Austell, Fowey, Eden Project etc.
Mark, Lucinda and Buddy all made me feel welcome - will visit again.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike.
Absolutely fantastic stay at this campsite. Lovely place, spacious pitches and very clean toilets/showers. Mark the owner is so lovely and friendly. we had a lovely chat around the bonfire the night we stayed. Honestly such a lovely place. There is also a very lovely doggo named Buddy We would 100% stay here again when we get back to Cornwall. Excellent location to the Eden Project, literally just down the road.
Liked: Close to Eden Project. Recycling facilities but we are struggling to say much else
Disliked: Generally an unloved site and over priced. Facilities could do with updating and more cleaning.
Liked: Warm friendly welcome from the owner with lots of suggestions for local area on arrival. He also took the time to chat to us throughout our stay. Good recycling set up, toilet block was basic but had hot water and is what you would expect for £10 a night. Quiet, pleasant site.
Disliked: Site seemed a bit waterlogged but we did have a lot of rain, would have liked a door mat to wipe feet on inside the toilets as it did get a bit wet and muddy.
