While driving around old homosassa, we saw the sign and decided we would give it a try after reading some other reviews online. What a wonderful, wonderful place! You can sample any of the flavors that you like and everything we sampled was absolutely delicious! The ice cream is homemade and the serving sizes are nice and the ingredients are not skimped upon. We are headed back there tonight after dinner! We had the butter pecan and also the blood red orange non-dairy. Absolutely delicious and the service was absolutely wonderful. ????????????????????????
This is seriously the BEST ice cream we have ever had. We are from the Tampa area and will definitely take another day trip and add a stop at the Ice Cream Bar to the agenda. My hubby had a 10/10 peanut butter milkshake, and I had a small cup with a scoop each of coconut crème pie and dark chocolate raspberry ice creams. The gentleman who served us shared all about the way they make their flavors and was passionate about their creations. And they have the cutest branding and presentation with black and white stripes. I think I’ll be having ice cream dreams. ???? We will be back!
10/10 - The Homemade ice cream is DELICIOUS, top notch service & super awesome atmosphere and vibe!! It's a MUST!! What a great experience. Megan and Cam were both very nice and helpful in the experience. The butter pecan is OUT OF THIS WORLD! The mocha chip was delicious! They had homemade waffle cones that just added to the yumminess. When we come back in town I’ll be making this an all the time stop! ????
Ice cream is amazing and the people running it are really friendly and helpful with choosing flavors. You know that they take pride in their homemade ice cream by the way they talk about it.
The serving size is generous and the flavors are amazing. I loved the true to nature flavor of the mint.
Parking is a little rough and seating is limited to a table with four chairs, but it's a nice location in town.
This place has simply the "BEST" ICE CREAM...EVER!! I was staying at a nearby resort and saw a line of people in front of their quaint building that was all lit up in the evening, and I just had to stop. The lovely owners seem to have a steady repeat clientele, and if you're "LUCKY enough" to visit the place you will never forget it.
Their ice creams are HOMEMADE and loaded with all kinds of yummy delights depending on the flavor you get. The scoops are "HUGE", and so are their DELICIOUS WAFFLE CONES! I got the "AMAZING CHOCOLATE" and my fiance got the "SCRUMPTIOUS PECAN PRALINE"...
WE COULD BARELY EAT IT ALL, BUT THE PRICES WERE RIGHT AND IT'S AN EXPERIENCE YOU WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER, and you'll want to come back for more!!
We loved this local and friendly ice cream place. Everyone got something that fit what they wanted - I am always indecisive so I had a delicious flight of four flavors. Hard to pick a favorite - loved the dark choc raspberry, the chocolate til I die and the pb cup so much! Even my non ice cream loving daughter loved the root beer float. Highly recommend.
Thank you for some great ice cream tonight! It's never too cold to eat ice cream when you're from Michigan. Appreciate that is all made in house. I'm a vanilla fanatic and their's is great! As were all of the 4 flavors my husband and I tried. The whopper in the bottom of the waffle come is genius, no making a mess!

I hate to be that person... because I really love supporting local small business. But we went there last week for a first time and my daughter got a kids size cake batter cookie dough cone, my husband got an eggnog cone and I got a small pistachio cup. The eggnog and the cookie dough ice cream tasted very strange, like that artificial flavor you get sometimes. It had a bad aftertaste. Besides that I'm not sure how one kid cone, one - 1 one scoop cone and one small cup came out to $17.50! I don't know I don't think we'll be back.
The waffle cone itself was delicious and my pistachio ice cream was very good.
EDIT: Posting honest reviews is the whole point of...reviews. I didn't need to complain in person, because we ate the ice cream, and we didn't like it. You wanted me to turn around, come 20 minutes back there to ask for a refund or replacement for eaten ice cream? I said nothing about the portions, they were indeed generous! But not worth $17.50, sorry. That's my review and I'm sorry you don't like it. You have plenty of good reviews which is why we came, so mine shouldn't upset you. No need to defend yourself. It's just my opinion. :)
