Best KPortal Reviews
You have to discover your own combination of food. It’s mid at best, but there are tools to make a meal that you can enjoy. Amazing all around, but I just wish it were better quality food. The meat is always dry, unless smothered in a sauce. The sushi rice is dry. The workers are really nice and helpful though. They work hard and do a good job. However, I would really like to see them fix the cleanliness of the topping bar. The rings are ALWAYS chilling in the toppings. It’s disgusting.
Been eating here since fall ‘22 and it’s been pretty okay. Food is usually good but I’ve had my bad experiences. Today, my bean burger was cold and there was a hair in my fries???? I’ve also found plastic in my chicken sandwich before (pic related). On the other hand, the staff are always very nice and welcoming. Wish there were a few more vegan options
Had lunch with our son at The Hub on Saturday for a quick visit. We had burgers, pizza, and fruit. The Teriyaki Turkey burger was quite good! The garnish bar was in terrible condition - no lettuce, some sad looking tomatoes, and no ketchup. The pepperoni pizza was super salty. The salad bar had quite a few nice options and they replenished that fairly quickly. Place was busy and lively!
I work here and I and my team members are going to make the experience spectacular on every visit
I remember how much USF housing hyped this place up so much when I was applying, but I could only stand to eat here twice during the two semesters I lived on campus, and the second time was because everywhere else was closed. The pizza was completely flavorless. The burger was as well and it gave me food poisoning. It astounds me how some kids eat here every day, even multiple times a day. Are y’all ok?
No parking for visitors near the Hub. GPS is confused. The road and lot layouts ate super difficult for a 1st.timer. luckily publix on campus had ready to go ham n cheese sandwich. After driving around for close to 15 or more minutes I did not have time to eat before my appointment. Also had trouble with turn for office building and patient parking is painted in yellow on the pavement- not very discernable. I am tild you csn be towed if not in a patient spot
Yeesh!
Signage on this campus needs major improvements
I'm updating my review. I used to have an absolutely scathing review of the Hub as a student.
But, it's improved quite a lot over the past few months. I met with the director of dining at USF and we talked about these and future changes, and they pulled through.
I don't know who is posting the 5-star reviews with "Great place for students to eat!!". They are NOT students, probably USF employees paid to fake reviews.
The food quality has gone down tremendously in the time I’ve been here. The meat is consistently dry and tasteless, and the produce is either overripe or not even ripe yet. The cheeseburgers consist of a lukewarm patty with cold Kraft cheese slapped on top of it. They consistently buy the cheapest, lowest quality possible food.
