Stumbled across this Chinese when we moved to the area and really loved the food and the owner who is super friendly and can't do enough. We always get the crispy chilli beef which is brilliant.
Only later have we seen the bad reviews and think they're unfair as in our experience it's a nice clean Chinese takeaway with friendly staff which is hard to find.
Staff are very nice, sadly I can't say the same about the food. Chips were greasy, some of the rice was in clumps, curry sauce tasted very strange and the icing on the cake was finding a hair in my food.
Always enjoyed the food provided by the previous owners. I won't be placing any future orders.

Disappointing usually food is good. We asked for chilli chips & were given normal. Satay sauce was rank, not a peanut in sight, no flavour at all & odd colour.
HORRENDOUS SERVICE. One star is TOO MUCH to give this business I wish there was an option for no stars at all. We are loyal customers to this business and multiple times we have ordered here always making clear for no egg in the rice as our household includes a severe egg allergy. This time was the 4th time we were given food with egg in it, took over 20 minutes to deliver rice without the egg which our food was freezing cold by this point. Only then to be shouted at at our front door because we asked them to just take the food back and receive a refund due to everything now being freezing cold. The man consistently shouted and swore and told us no we’re not having our money back, then said he didn’t have the cash available only then to magically appear from the car with the correct amount of cash. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! Take your business elsewhere because you will NOT be appreciated and will probably end up being verbally abused outside your own front door by staff when they mess up your order!
Our family of 6 has been buying chinese food from here and its predecessor for the last 6 years. The food has been ok and arrived warm. However, with our last order the delivery driver shortchanged us by £5. We assumed this was an accident so called up immediately. The lady who answered told us that he would pop back and drop the £5 off. However he never returned, consequently I do not expect to be ordering from here again.
This was the worst experience in a takeaway. Did the order no problems, nice lady taking the payment. When we were about to eat and taste the menus ordered, one was spoiled even smelling really bad, another two without any taste of a well cooked food. Only the rice was is good conditions and taste. Went back to the restaurant to complain and to claim my money back. The chef was rude, yelling at me, saying that would call the police. I was always calm and asking for my money back, he only gave me 10 pounds of the 23 spent. For the first time I am decided formalise a complaint about this restaurant to the authorities. We are feeling sick and restaurants need to understand the high responsibility of delivering food in good conditions to their customers.
Excellent food, enough for the next day as well with the £23 set menu for two. Lemon chicken, Hong Kong sweet and sour, beef. would really recommend.
