Went here with my quartet after a rehearsal. Wait staff was wonderful and professional but service was extremely slow. My grilled cheese sandwich and fried zucchini were delicious but our bass was served crunchy rice and our baritone's onion rings were cold.
Additionally, it is through no fault of the Hot Cow staff, but they inherited a loud and poorly designed building that made conversation impossible, especially so with the large wall fan plugged in.
Kudos for the environmentally friendly straws but come only if you have time to kill.
The new Hot Cow in Clearlake has the burger business down! The Mushroom Swiss Burger ???? was really good! My friends opened the original place, The Spot, so I'm partial to the original location. Kaitlyn was a great server. ???? You can't beat amazing onion rings and a restaurant on the water that you can boat up to!
First time was dine-in; I ordered a simple grilled cheese which came out extremely crunchy and somehow gummy at the same time. Had several different waiters/ waitresses through one dining session.
Other times were take out - got their BBQ special yesterday. Pulled pork tasted and felt like barbecued wood chips, mac & cheese texture was that of something left out in the sun for way too long, and the baked beans tasted of the scent of dirty feet.

Went there and saw some really good live music by Margo and Friends. They have a boat dock, and I went out there to take a sunset picture and met someone who offered to teach me to sail, that was awesome! Really nice outdoor seating. Too bad it's closing, I think I'll start using it to host Live Events
This used to be a place called the Spot. New folks did a great job of getting out group seated quickly. Service was good, food was hot and fresh. Tasted great , had BLT perfectly cooked bacon and fresh tomatoes. ????
My Wife and I both got hamburgers, which were absolutely delicious. We got the Fishermans burger. I absolutely loved it. My wife got a regular hamburger which was amazing. We also got the hot wings. Which was very good and tasty. The waitress in the bartender were very kind. Very helpful and great customer service. Best hamburger place. In Clearlake ???????????????? ????????????????????????
The food was good. I had the classic burger with cheese and bacon which comes with fries. Glad to have a new location to hang out on the water.
One of the better places in Clearlake. Sit inside or outside. Good quality burgers....yummy drinks and beers on tap. Check to see if they have a band playing.
