Best KPortal Reviews

Our first-time to The Holiday Bar and it was absolutely delightful! Michael gave us incredible service and suggested trying the loaded mac and cheese, THB Nachos and loaded fries which we absolutely loved. The food was great and the staff is incredibly friendly, the live band was super amazing! We'll be back! Thanks Michael!
Had heard so many great things about this bar, and we finally got to go a few times now, and this by far is one of our instant favorite places!
Staff is great, atmosphere is so inviting and fun, and the room itself is sectioned off into different zones so you can pretty much please so many kinds of people and get whatever vibe you want depending on where you sit!
Plus my personal favorite is they almost always have a DJ playing all the great early 2000’s hits and it gets the whole place going every time!
Also a giant perk is it’s on the outskirts of GR so you avoid the downtown crowds, and it has its own parking lot, so MUCH nicer than most places for ease and convince!
10/10 highly recommend!!
This place is worth checking out! We ordered the Cowboy Burger and the French Dip and both were delicious! We had this delivered and the service was prompt and everything tasted as fresh as being in the restaurant. The packaging of the to-go boxes played a role into how well the food stayed table-ready. I highly recommend stopping in to support this west side (the best side) establishment. Enjoy! Happy eating!
Gave it another shot. Sits on the NE on a side street, parking not great really small..Its been remodeled and looks really nice they also have a outdoorpatio and live music..it was ok..seems to always be busy...drinks are ok and kids are allowed. Bartender was really nice and gave good suggestions.
Expresso martini, Polish eggrolls, French onion soup, & a Ruben sandwich.... Yum with s striple side of yum! Oh, and a show from a fast driver & GR City Police. Poor tree...
When I first moved to GR in 2014 this place had more of a dive bar vibe but they have since created something entirely their own. Parts still have a dive vibe like the original bar, but other aspects are more contemporary.
The food here is superb, and I'll often come for lunch even when I can't have a drink. Can't go wrong with any of the burgers, but the pork belly nachos are a personal favorite, and the Cuban is great. I haven't really had something here I didn't enjoy.
Beer list is reasonable and with cocktails, wine, and slushy cocktails they've got something for everyone.
The back patio really shines as they've made a number of upgrades over the past few years.
Holiday Bar is a little gem in the west side, and definitely recommend to anyone.
Decent local bar, with limited brew menu. The food selection is a bit heavy with meat as the main stay. Salad option was limited but the waiter was great to agree to customize the standard offering. Bar has been recently updated, and is more restaurant like than bar. Outdoor area seems nice if dogs are allowed. Need vegetarian options for food.
I met the owner at an event and he’s a real stand up guy. I’ve visited this bar twice with coworkers and have ordered takeout a handful of times (I live 8 minutes away). In both instances, I was impressed by the atmosphere and quality of food. The Ruben and French dip are highly recommended from this foodie!
