Great food, normally quick service & you can usually place your phone order ahead! FYI… The prices have increased! Yet, it’s still a great value for your money! #INFLATION! Also, I love the spinach pizza puff which is hard to find at most places.
First timer… Got the Chicago classic steak sandwich. Had all the flavor of one of my favorite spots on 111th but it was not hot as I expected it to be. Mid was the best review I could give it this time. But, I’d go back cause they still sell staple food.
I have been here a few times & the food was ok, Until 2-3-24 I was eating a sweet steak & it was going ok until I almost got to the last bite. When I almost lost several teeth because it was bones in the sandwich. They need to let the customers know that there may be a chance that you may come across some bones. It’s just the right thing to do & I’m still going to order food from here, Because the food is good.
I've been here 5 times and each time my order was not completely correct. The food is decent. They don't listen carefully when taking orders. They argue with the customers when they TRY to ask a question. They owe me $2.00 additional charge. She wanted to give me .50 cents charge. Charging me for a large hogie when ordered a medium. Please double check your orders and count your change. They move fast and talk faster. They automatically assume that the customer is wrong. I have not seen one black person working in this place. It appears that they are making ALL of their money off of Black people. Our money is good, but our people is not worth paying them money to work.
I want to give a better rating to them. However, until they can understand that the relish that goes on the steak sweet doesn't go on the hoagie, I can't. I specifically say NO SWEET because I know they will. I get home and I have sweet, no peppers. Talk about being upset. I'm done with them.
Hands down one of the best hoagie spots in Chicago. I love the Steak Supreme with extra cheese and sweet peppers and the hoagie is the best. Bread- super fresh and meat perfectly seasoned ????????????????!
My first time trying this out and it is a no for me. Steak Sandwich tasted like old grease I didn't order a sweet steak but was giving a sweet steak. Nasty oily greasy food never knew steak supposed to be greasy.
This place use to be trustworthy, but not anymore this steak was straight trash, what’s the weird taste & fatty nasty tasting meat, I will not return here again, you can’t feed people no slope ????
