Had heard good things about the Hinds Head and was really pleased that I went.
Lovely calm atmosphere and plenty of tables close to the bar as well as a separate room.
Menu has got a wide range of options, and the price of the items is great, especially when you see the size of the items. Had a delicious garlic bread with feta and red onion that was absolutely huge and delicious.
Fish & Chips for my main, homemade mushy peas and tartare sauce were both excellent. Batter on the fish was really light but nicely crispy. Didn't look at the dessert menu but only because I was absolutely stuffed.
Meal with 1 starter, 2 mains and 2 drinks was less than £40. Absolute bargain. Staff were all brilliant. Highly recommended it.
Came here on a recommendation and really lived up to the hype! Relaxed and pleasant atmosphere combined with delicious food (check out the garlic bread with extras) made for a winning meal.
The pub being dog friendly was the icing on the cake.
Will definitely return.
Well first off we were greeted with a warm welcome the staff were lovely and well turned out. They couldn't do enough for us. The whole experience was lovely my wife is just getting over bowel cancer and we are always careful about what she can eat but that was no problem everything was explained and dealt with professionally. The food was exceptional and tasty. I had the steak and Guinness pie and the others had the chicken curry half and half. Not a lot else I can say but please try it if you haven't been you will not be disappointed. We will definitely be going back. I would also like to thank the staff who made a wonderful gesture at the end of the meal which will remain between us you know who you are.

Enjoyed a lovely Sunday Lunch ( no roast options for Xmas ) and we all choose from the set menu but a Christmas menu was available. High praise for the slow roast belly pork . Friendly and efficient waiting/ kitchen staff and an organised Manager made this busy time smoothly run. Very good and will return.
Received a really warm welcome from the team at Hinds Head, lovely pub, fantastic selection of drinks. Impressive outside area to enjoy the lovely scenery. Food was tasty, and a varied selection and attentive, but not crowding service. Stayed overnight in a beautiful room, which looked like it has been recently refurbished to a high standard. Pub noise to be expected but midweek wasn't bad at all. Would highly recommend.
Fabulous 3 course lunch for £16.95. Generous portions and a fantastic selection of dishes. They offer something different as well as traditional. Lovely and cozy with a real fire. Friendly, attentive staff. Our new favourite restaurant.
