The bed and breakfast was nestled in a beautiful location near several distilleries. The house was so pretty and our room was gorgeous. The breakfast the next morning was amazing. Our host was warm and friendly and very accommodating. From the delicious chocolates that greeted us when we arrived to the cozy bed that we slept in, everything was pleasant and restful. The venue was very close to the Amp where we saw a concert and to Maker’s Mark Distillery where we toured the next day. Everything was perfect!
Wow! We had an absolutely INCREDIBLE visit at The Hill House Bed & Breakfast. Lisa Marie the innkeeper, went above & beyond to make sure our 3 day stay was perfect. From our welcome happy hour & our delicious gourmet brunch in the mornings, to the clean & comfy accommodations, everything was PERFECT! The location to the Bourbon Trail was great too! Maker’s Mark, Willet & Heaven Hill were within a short drive. |I have been to several B&B around the country. The Hill House ranks at the top of the list. |I would highly recommend staying there while enjoying your Bourbon Trail Trip.
The best bed and breakfast ever! The house is beautiful, the food is absolutely delicious and Lisa Marie is the most wonderful hostess you'll ever have! Upon arrival, she has "happy hour" with wine, cheese, etc. So yummy! The back porch is inviting and cozy. The front porch has rockers where you can sit and watch the world go by. Each room is tastefully decorated and has everything you need!|Breakfast, oh my! Everything is fresh and absolutely delicious! Even though we didn't use it this time, the parlor has a fireplace and we were able to enjoy it's coziness during a different stay last winter. |I don't think you'll find a better place to stay! :)|
We traveled from CA and celebrated my husbands birthday at the Hill House which was amazing. Our host, Lisa Marie, made the best breakfast's every morning. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Even the sweet little dog Rudy James made us feel right at home. The Hill House is conveniently located on the Bourbon Trail and has incredible history of it's own along with a great reputation in the community. Prior to our trip Lisa helped us with recommendations on distilleries, tours, restaurants, and must see places. We had a great week that was full of fun memorable experiences. We'll definitely be going back!!! -Val
Two couples booked this b&b for a weekend getaway in Bourbon country. We had such a fun time. The patio was great for fall evening visits. Our breakfasts were so much fun and lively with the other guests. Lisa Marie and Rudy James are just the absolute best hosts. We had a schedule discrepancy and Lisa Marie made sure we had breakfast before leaving. She goes above and beyond and it truly made our weekend extra special! And her breakfasts really are phenomenal! Thank you again!!
Simply AMAZING! cannot praise ms. Lisa enough! The food was fantastic, the drinks, the vibe of the home...the room just fantastic. I have never stayed at a bed and breakfast before now but now I will never stay at a hotel ever again! Ms. Lisa has set the bar high for other B&B I can say that! If you are in the area definitely choose her over a hotel!!
What a gem! Lisa Marie made sure our stay was wonderful. She made fabulous breakfasts, and she was so accommodating with dietary needs. We enjoyed staying close to the Bourbon Trail and beautiful countryside.
