I’ve often seen mentions of the hideout but never managed to catch a time to go. Today we poped in for lunch as it was a bit later it was quiet ( always busy when we we’ve been past ) the staff were so lovely no problem tweaking our order. Food came out in good time and was piping hot and delicious. I’ll be making more of an effort to go back again ????
Been a few times when in the area. Yesterday was a mistake going there. Parked my motorcycle up. Ordered two cheese and onion sandwiches and two coffees. Sandwiches came out with ham. Being vegetarian this wasn’t acceptable. The sandwiches were returned and quickly (far too quickly for comfort ????) they came back out without the ham. The side salad was appalling. Brown lettuce all dried up. The bread was stale.
Tbh we should have asked for a refund and left, but again like lots of others we didn’t want to make a scene.
We fed the sandwich to the nearby bin. ???? And left. Only thinking later that was £17 wasted. Sorry to give bad review as usually I just don’t. We won’t be back.
I visited here today with my Grandma for breakfast. Staff were very friendly when taking our orders. The cafe was clean and they bad plenty of tables. Tables are also outside with sheltering for the hot weather. Reasonable costs for food.
Myself and a friend ate inside, I can't fault it at all. Lovely atmosphere, delicious food and fabulous staff. I had avocado on sour bread which I highly recommend. We will definitely be back to this hidden little gem.
Had a breakfast baguette with a friend today. Great service, lovely atmosphere and reasonable prices. Top notch cafe would recommend.
We visited for my husband's birthday breakfast, we came quite late in the morning and it was busy but with a good atmosphere. Weather was atrocious outside, and it was nice and warm inside. Food was great, service was great and we enjoyed our visit ????
