What a hidden gem. It is under new ownership and what a difference. Jenna the new owner is breath of fresh air. The screened in back patio is perfect for a relaxing evening.
Thousand percent only great things to say about The HI Dive Bar!!!!! Got D'Marie the greatest Bartendress ever!!!!!!! And Bradda Dean don't even drink Coors Light!!!!
In the sparsely populated Kealakekua district, D'Marie has HI Dive Bar packed on a day to day basis.
If you have not experienced HI Dive Bar, you have not experienced the true essence of Hawaii!!!!!! Customer's can only drink Diet Pepsi there and have a great time. The HI Dive Bar is the greatest bar ever hands down by a trillion marathons!!!!!!! It's a fact when D'Marie is working there!!!!

Such a hidden gem with the sweetest owner. Don’t let the name hi “dive bar” stop you. It’s more like a chill lounge with a great huge back patio. Plus the adorable kittens is a huge plus.
I walked in not knowing what to expect. As soon as I saw the board games right by the entrance I knew it was going to be a good night.
The service was incredible and I was incredibly surprised by the quality of the hot dogs. Our server toasted the buns with so much love. Now I just want to go back for more love and more buns.
10/10 would recommend.

Jenna is truly superly awesome. THE MOST GORGEOUS FEMALE BAR OWNER EVER AND THE KINDEST!!!!!!! D'MARIE IS THE COOLEST BARTENDRESS IN THE UNIVERSE AND DEAN NAGASAKO DOES NOT EVEN DRINK!!!!!!!! THAT IS SAYING A LOT AND BRADDA DEAN IS GOING TO SAY THE HIGH DIVE BAR HAS A LOT OF ALOHA AND GREAT CROWD LIKE A FAMILY HOUSE!!!!!! TRULY EXTRA SUPER AWESOME!!!!!!!
Great little hole-in-the-wall bar, and actually nicer inside than the name implies. I'd give it 5 stars if there were more menu options. We had the kahlua pork sliders and liked them. Nice lanai out back with a dart board and board games. Killer drink specials!
