This is a lovely new space in a great location in the middle of Hebden Bridge. It’s the best coffee I’ve had in Hebden so far (though I’ve not tried all the cafes yet). There is a great choice of cakes too. The decor, furnishings and artwork is really good, well, to my taste at least.

Service is friendly, engaging and efficient. A great find, highly recommend.

This cafe has such a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The decor is colourful and imaginative but it's all very tasteful and comfortable. There's a great range of cakes catering for many different dietary needs and the pricing is very reasonable. My coeliac friend was delighted to be able to order gluten free crumpets with butter and jam.

I arrived in Hebden Bridge at 5pm for a Trades Club gig that started later. Independent businesses are my go to.

I was so delighted to find this funky cafe was open until 8pm

The owner has put a lot of thought into the little touches putting our comfort at the top of the agenda.

Indi was an absolute delight throughout my whole stay.

I didn't want to leave. But the Trade Hall was calling. For me The Hermit is the perfect partner to the Trade Club.

I travelled 150 miles from Kettering to see the delights of Hebden Bridge.

Cosy quirky cafe in central Hebden Bridge with great cakes! Here's the view.

I love this unpretentious, relaxed little place to chill, enjoy good tea and cake and sometimes a glass of wine. Lovely lady who runs the place and wonderful atmosphere.

We opted for two Chai Lattes with a cake and were pleasantly surprised by how fresh and good the ingredients were. The cake was to die for, the Latte just as good. Despite being busy the staff were very happy to help. Definitely stop here on your way past!

It's a bit quirky but lovely, too. A hot day and the cold beer (bottles) and wine were great.
