It's the same dump is always been. Completely emphasised by the 2 chavs obviously doing coke in the mens toilets while an 11 year old was trying to used the bath room. Not totally the staffs fault just the inbred locals

Friendly enough place. I'd always thought it looked a bit unwelcoming and isolated from the outside but I was pleasantly surprised upon entering.

Whilst not exactly the Ritz, the place is well maintained, clean, tidy and serves a decent pint of Scotch. I'd certainly call in again if passing.

Quiz night on a Sunday.

Cordial & helpful landlady & landlord. Impeccably clean. Visited on a Sun lunchtime after walking along Hendon Beach. Excellent.

We had a wake on Monday the staff L/lord were great , the buffet was fantastic,coming from the other side of London l miss proper homemade food mince pie ,conbeef pie the were all top notch

A brilliant old fashioned pub with good cheap drinks and a lovely roaring fire

My favourite watering hole on Sunday it's a man's pub just good beer and a quiz perfect

A warm welcome and friendly atmosphere. Drinks were very reasonably priced
