Great diner. I had the fish sandwich, which had a huge piece of fish, well cooked along with tartar sauce and french fries. Another in our party had the Cuban Panini, large sandwich, filled with ham, roasted pork, swiss cheese and pickles. Another had the Taco Salad, huge salad filled with taco meat and cheese. Our waiter was awesome, he was attentive and accomodading. If you are looking for a good meal and a Diner experience I would recommend the Hearth.
The ribs and chicken were awesome. Ribs fell off the bone easily and chicken was moist. Chili was good for someone who likes it spicy as I'm not into spicy chili. Haddock was moist. Lima beans were tender I like them that way. Waitress was very polite, helpful and took well to conversation. Very pleasant. It is open 24 hours and food was worth the money. Family owned and run. Have old time jukeboxes at every booth thought that was cool.
Usually when I go it’s always absolutely amazing, well I haven’t been there for a few months and tonight I went with a few friends and it was the absolute worst food ever. The waitress was absolutely amazing, the sweetest ever! But I had ordered eggs and they had came out raw so I asked to be cooked longer, which they came out and they were still not fully cooked and I had mentioned it but “that is how they are cooked” is what I got back from the cook. My potato’s were half done and half not done at all. My sister and I got similar things and hers was all perfect, so I’m wondering how all my food was disgusting. Plus, when I went to complain to the “manager” or whatever the lady was, first has the worst attitude ever, second she had me pay full price. Which I do understand since it had a bite or two out of it, but I had complained twice and only had a few bites out of it. I’m fairly surprised with the outcome.
Atmosphere is old school with some record players but that’s all the hype, their breakfast food used to be what they’re known for. After stopping there today, we got pathetic portion sizes, completely missed toast which I don’t know how you do, and the food was bland and unseasoned. Chocolate chip pancakes weren’t too bad but it’s completely overpriced, we got 2 hearth specials and it came out to about $40, what we got: in mine, one egg and a single scoop size of hash brown, scrapple, no toast, and 2 pancakes, the portion size was tinyyyyy, girlfriend got the same but with home fries and they didn’t have much of a golden crisp more of a dark brown burnt look/taste. We got home and added our own seasoning. Still wasn’t as good as they used to be. Service was a pity, the man at the register was rude & scolding; the lady that brought our food gave us one napkin and told us she gave us some….we got one singular napkin ???? sad just sad what the lebanon hearth has come to, park city diner is way better! $16 for more than all of that and it’s virtually the same order. Way more food the hash browns are buttery and have color/flavor, and they don’t skip on your eggs or bacon.
OH MY GOODNESS!
Drop everything and visit this amazing place.
Who can't resist a 10+ page menu, 24 hours a day and a full bar!
The food and staff are great! Thanks for your amazing hard work!
This is an old school, family friendly place. They have updated jukebox type music selection consoles in the booths. The service was great and the plentiful staff seemed friendly with each other. My crab cakes and hubster's burger were huge! The crab cakes weren't made from real crab but I didn't expect they would be for the price. If you like dessert, this is a place for you with a variety of cakes, pies, and cheesecakes. It has a small bar with the usual beers and wine plus cocktails. The menu is pretty extensive with seafood, steak, Italian, sandwiches and more. Looking forward to breakfast there soon. They seem to do a good take out business. Being close to our new home, I'm sure we'll be back.
When you imagine a local diner, this is what you imagine. Food was delicious & staff were friendly.
I'd highly recommend the chicken Parm sandwich & mozzarella sticks.
Only critique would be to maybe add some more cheese to the chicken Parm sandwich like some shredded cheese on top of the chicken. Other than that it was really good.
I ordered a Mexican Omelette that besides having lots of ingredients tasted like nothing. The stake on it was hard and dry and the sauce it came with tasted like pasta sauce (Pomodoro) which made it the least Mexican I have ever tasted. It also did not look appetizing at all, they could work on their serving. Any how, I didn’t really leat my food, extremely dry and just not tasty. There coffee is good though.
