Grand cafe in beautiful location, clean and tidy. Nice friendly staff, eat inside or out, we had coffee and fish and chips sat outside. All freshly cooked and very tasty. Worth stopping if you're passing. We parked at the castle ,short stroll to the harbour. Was few car spaces outside cafe.
Lovely wee cafe! The Full Harbour breakfast was delicious. The house made beans are incredible! Really great locally sourced fresh food! The place was jammed packed but folks got seated quickly. Staff are really nice too.
Great lunch - food was fabulous! Fish and chips on the regular menu were fresh and full of flavour, not at all greasy, minted peas and tartare sauce with fresh lemon made it even better. The specials board had slow roasted beef chilli, served with rice and fresh salsa/guacamole - beautifully cooked and served by staff that clearly care! DOG-FRIENDLY….. perfect place for lunch & a dog walk! (Or coffee & cake?) Everything looked good - we’ll definitely be back for more!
Excellent wee place to get food. The atmosphere is super good and homely. The staff could not have been nicer and more accommodating. Don't get me started on the food. Lovely homemade food, with a great wee coffee.
Definitely come here if you are in the area, and give the area a good walk around.

Wow! What a treasure trove we found with this little cafe. Home made cakes at low prices are absolutely delicious. Meals and sandwiches are so tasty. Clean and welcoming and also dog friendly. We really enjoyed our visit and will return when next in the area.
Have been popping in for breakfast with my boyfriend recently and while we only tend to get coffee and a roll each, it’s the best we’ve had. The lovely staff are always happy to help and chat and nothing is ever a hassle. The cafe is a joy to be in and a treasure for the little village to have :)
This was my first visit to The Harbourside cafe and it did not disappoint. It's def more than a cafe! Beautiful interior, exceptionally warm welcome and great service from the team. Food was sensational, best burger I've ever had and it was so fresh and piping hot. We sat there for 3 hours chatting, eating and watching the waves crash on the harbour and despite lots of comings and goings did not feel pressured to finish up and leave. I will def recommend The Harbourside and absolutely return for the food, the service and the beautiful setting - a castle just around the corner.
(A wee aside: the facilities are beautiful and clean)
