I have now visited the Harbour shed on two occasions all in all a good fish and chip shop in a modern well appointed premises with friendly helpful attentive professional staff.This is definitely my first choice for aish and chip shop in lynmouth reasonable prices and good portion sizes
The best fish and chips I’ve had in a very long time, and gluten free as standard- epic.
I’m intolerant to gluten and dairy and their menu was almost completely both gluten and dairy free! I had the cod bites and chips and the fish was so light and fresh. The staff were lovely and very helpful with my allergens and it has outdoor seating with a view of the harbour - oh, and they’re dog friendly!! The only downside is that they’re not closer to home! Thank you for amazing service and delicious food
Our favourite place to stop and have food on our way down to Devon. It would be nice if the seating area stayed open whilst the shop is open.

Warm welcome from the nice people at the Harbour Shed in Lynmouth. Great haddock and chips and they serve Costa coffee too. They cook all their fish in gluten free batter and it is very crisp, golden and crunchy.
Lovely place along the water serving great fish and chips! Some tartar sauce (and extra lemon) would’ve taken it up a notch, but as I didn’t see any sauces on the menu, I’m guessing it’s just salt and vinegar?
I opened my regular size cod and chips up, sat ontop of my cod is a thick, black, curly hair about an inch or two long, either a pubic hair or facial hair.
