Good food, the only thing I can say against it is that the sweet and sour sauce tasted like strawberry syrup more then anything and it lacked a bit of apice on the other dishes. Everything else was spot on ordered crispy shredded chicken, fried rice and salt and pepper chips. Affordable price, fast and friendly service, great tasting food. ????????
Don't know why there are so many negative reviews. Food and service were great. Not many round here but this takeaway is fine. Great work.
We regularly get a takeaway from the Lucky House and really enjoy it. It's worth driving 20 miles for a treat. I have given it 5 stars for atmosphere because I am not prepared to mark it down. Not sure why a takeaway would need to have an atmosphere? We love the food.
I have to be honest, this place had the worst sweet and sour I have ever tasted. It was a cross between soap and detergent. 1 extra star for not messing up the chow mein as well. Also the most expensive Chinese takeaway I have been to. I would not recommend.
Without any doubt, the worst Chinese carry out food I have ever tasted. BBQ spare ribs without any marinade, flavouring or seasoning, basically plain oven baked dry pork bones topped with 2 slices of lemon!!! Really???
The seagulls around here are huge. Not only did they scoff most of my main & fried rice I fed them, one of them even swallowed both of the banana fritters whole ! Amazing. I disposed of the sauce in a bin on my way to Tescos.
Its a chinese takeaway so it's not like there loads of chat and banter.. Young lad behind counter was friendly and efficient, too our order no problem.
Food was lovely and slightly different to my own local Chinese which is great as no 2 should be the same.
Only down point is it was Cash only.. only a 2 min walk to tesco cashpoint though..
Parked early to wait for the takeaway to open in 20 minutes, got told off by the landowner for parking in the takeaway car park lol. How bizarre. So don’t go early lol
