Since moving to the area in 2021 it’s the only Chinese takeaway I’ve used and I’ve had no reason to go anywhere else. The staff are always incredibly friendly, the food has always been faultless and very tasty and it’s good value for money… and I’ve never had to wait long for it either! What’s not to like! I’ll always recommend The Happy Buddha!
Horrible 9 of us fishing round the corner ordered The chow mein taste like is spagettie pasta not noodle greasy as hell sweet and sour taste like hand sanitizer would recommend the chip shop local £100+ wasted
Best takeaway I've ever had, honestly I have a sensitive bowel and this did not irritate me whatsoever. It was so delicious, I had chicken chow mein, chilli chicken, black bean chicken, crispy seaweed, crispy shredded beef & prawn crackers. I could not get enough but kindly shared half with a friend. We could not believe we got all that for £31.30! All this was prepared in half an hour, simply superb!
Family of four all very impressed as this was not our first choice (other place is shut Mondays). Greeted by friendly, jovial staff, didn't have to wait long and had sudoku to do while waiting. The menu is deceptively simple; I did think that nothing on it particularly interested me, but we went for a set menu with a few extras and it was excellent food. Good value. Takeaway only.
Amazing service and amazing food. 1st time visiting this takeaway and with my girlfriend being gluten free chinese is normally a no go. Talked through the menu and told us what was safe and what wasn’t. Food was yummy and good price. Will definitely return. ????
Ordered from here as my regular is closed on a Tuesday and we was in need of a Chinese meal as we just got back from holiday today too.
Well in a nutshell I don't think we will use The Happy Buddha again. The chicken curry was bland, my missis had the sweet and sour chicken balls and refused to eat it and the chow mein was dry. Not hard to see why they don't deliver!!! Coz nobody likes it.
Nuff said.
Always great portions here, the chow mein and lemon chicken a very good combo I've found. The duck with pancakes was definitely a treat!
Thanks for many happy dinners!
The cook who greeted us, took our order and cooked our food fresh was lovely, the food is delicious and very fresh, I write this with rib sauce on my fingers ????
