First time at The Hangout we our locals we wanted to try out this place because we heard great things about it.
Well it was well worth the visit our server Abby was a all star in the experience also check in on us through our whole time there we definitely will recommend her next time for us.
We had so much fun dancing on tables, the shark attack drink was on point, and the food was amazing!!!! Great job The Hangout we definitely will be back !!
The Hangout at Broadway at the Beach is a great place for families with kids. They offer a variety of food options, including seafood dishes, burgers, and tacos. They also have live music year-round, which creates a fun and festive atmosphere. The real star of the show, however, is the outdoor courtyard.
There's a sandpile, a foam pit, and yard games to keep the kids entertained for hours. With delicious food, live music, and plenty of activities for the kids, The Hangout is sure to become a new favorite for families visiting Myrtle Beach. We had an incredible dining experience at The Hangout in Myrtle Beach!
The atmosphere was electric—so fun and laid-back, perfect for a family dinner or hanging out with friends. Our server, Hannah F., was a true gem; she went above and beyond, making sure we had everything we needed with a smile that just lit up the place. She had us up dancing and having a good time and treated the kids very special. She had lots of great energy and made the experience fantastic.
The burgers were juicy and delicious, and the fries were the perfect crispy companion. But the real showstopper was the famous Shark Attack drink—my kids absolutely loved the fun presentation and couldn’t stop talking about it! If you’re looking for a great spot to dine and unwind, The Hangout should be at the top of your list.
We came out for some live music by City Lights on the outside stage. We recognized an outside bar on the 2nd level and got a bar seat. Each band break an MC came out and fired up the inside crowd recognizing veterans, birthdays, and the like. So we enjoyed the best of both worlds, watching both inside and outside activities. A fun evening, plan to come back.
We went here on a Saturday night on vacation and Taylor served us. She was always there checking up on us seeing if we needed anything she was great! 40 minute wait time but that’s expected for a place this popular. Atmosphere was fun and the 8:45 show was fun. Food portions were great and food was fresh and hot. Definitely would recommend! Noting they do an automatic 18% gratuity on Fridays and Saturdays on top of tipping. Thanks again Taylor we had a great time!
We had so much fun with the kids here. They really enjoyed it. The food was really fresh and yummy. Absolutely no complaints. We will definitely be returning for even a better experience since we came in the later hour..
Great, great, great, great, and GREAT!!!! This place was really fantastic! Did I tell you how great it was?! If I didn't, I'm telling you now: this restaurant is stupendous! It is GREAT!!!
If you've never been here, you absolutely have to go and experience it! Be sure to inform the host if it's your birthday, if you're celebrating an anniversary, if you celebrated a major milestone in life, or any other thing you might be celebrating!
You will see from the short videos I included that they had our family dancing on the tables! The music selections are fantastic and great, and it's just a wonderful, family-friendly time! I have nothing negative to say about the place.
In addition to all of the goings on inside of the restaurant, there are several other goings on outside of the restaurant! You have to visit this place! You will not regret it! Oh: and of course, the food is pretty great, too! Order the fried pickles!
Great food, service, atmosphere. Live music, entertainment. Prices are decent, i got a alabama burger which was 1/2lb burger with pulled pork on top, bbq sauce, and onion straws. It was amazing. Medium rare, as always. My wife got the chicken BLT po’ boy, It was great also. Would definitely go back here.
