We stopped by to get some gyros before heading out, the store wasn't too crowded and we were greeted as we walked in. The over appearance was a little run down and certainly could have been cleaner. There are only a few tables so you may have trouble if it's busy. We placed our order and received our food in a timely manner. The meat was a little dry and could have been a bit more flavor full but it wasn't terrible. While I would eat there again it would not be some place I go out of my way too.
A few years ago, when my husband and I used to go to Las Vegas often, we stopped by this place few times. The food was good enough, but I remember the area where the sauces kept was messy but the bathroom was clean.
Overall not so great. The amount of meat and rice was less than average. The gyro meat was overcooked. The lettuce and tomatoes were good and reasonably fresh. The overall portion for the price was less than average. Very little white sauce. Server was friendly. There was a spill on the floor that no one bothered to clean up, they just put a sign over it. I was the only person in line and waited a good bit to be served. I was told a few times someone would be with me in a minute. After looking through some of the platter photos, mine looked nothing like theirs. No intentions of going back, not nearly worth the $16.
If you've had a few drinks it'll do the job. If you're sober it's disappointing.
Was the ownership changed? Am I the only one thinking the amount & quality of their foods has been decreased steeply? The last 3 times (over the last 2 months) at this location has definitely been less amount & worse quality than before. I love Halal Guys Since I had first time in NY, I've been a patron for this branch quite a while.
- Food: The hot sauce is my lifesaver, I come here because of this! The chicken is overcooked sometimes so I go with beef these days. I love their seasoning. I only order platters and once there was no diced tomatoes at all.
- Ambience: Mom and pop restaurant vibe. It is mostly for to-go. There are often people waiting to pick up foods. Not too noisy.
- Service: It is random, sometimes friendly, sometimes are not. Depending on the server.
- Hygiene: Floor didn't look clean. I didn't want to try the bathroom.
- Price: It's been continuously going up, hope it doesn't go up anymore lol
- Location: It is in the middle of Chinatown, at a busy restaurant area.
- Parking: But you can still find a parking spot in front of the restaurant.
- ETC
* This location is 24/7. Good for late night food
* Too bad they've recently started charging $0.75/pc for extra hot sauce
[Will I be back?]
As a Vegas local, I might visit the other branch on the Strip to see if the amount is smaller like here. I hope the management team or owner will improve their food and service quality as before or else they will lose a customer..

I visited Halal Guys back in Virginia and I loved it. That’s the reason I stopped at this place in Las Vegas. But what a waste of money.
The quality of food is drastically low than other outlets I would say, also the atmosphere I felt is really off there.
I have always loved their food but I hadn't personally gone to the shop before. It was 3am but the employees were still attentive, friendly, and helpful. The employee that rang us out gendered my friend correctly, and when my card declined and I started to cry (cause 3am and drunk) they were so sweet with me and said it seemed like I needed a hug. They empathized with how hard my life has been lately and just generally made me feel better. They have made a customer for life.
I don't usually put review on food unless its really bad and i wanna warn people about it. I ordered chicken platter with tomatoes rice chicken. Tomatoes were bad slimy and tasted really sour probably been sitting for at least a week. Chicken is bad, also, turned dark color which means its nowhere fresh. I tried halal guys in different cities and they always sell expired food.
From Brooklyn New York allllllll the way to Las Vegas Nevada, I AM HUNTING DOWN HALAL GUYS!! ???????????????? I will stand in line forever for a chicken &rice bowl!! The food is ALWAYS hot, freshly made, and delicious!! I always make sure to get extra so I have more when I go home! I've never been so in love with a food joint before, but they guys will forever have my heart! And my husband's too! ????????????????????
