I lost my stylist of many years due to retirement. I found someone through a recommendation and I was happy with the service, until I wasn't. I decided to try The Hair Studio after my daughter made an appointment and was very pleased with her hair, the cut the color and the staff. I made an appointment and never looked back! The location is where I had been going for years so it was a little strange at first. It's been remodeled and updated and looks great! The staff is a great group of girls and they make you feel welcome. My stylist is a wonderful young lady who communicates well and listens to what you want for color and cut and makes recommendations, tells you what she thinks is possible for your hair and together it gets worked out. I'm very happy every time with every appointment. Her name is Alissa. I'm so glad I made the appointment, I can't imagine going anywhere else. My hair hasn't looked this good for a long time ????
I don’t see the point of bringing in a picture if they were gonna do something completely different. Also I was honest about not liking it (and felt bad) and they told me I could come back and pay twice as much (it was 50 percent off and I still spent 80bucks). But it’s not even the color- I understand that my hair is dark but the color was VERY off and she tried to tell me that the picture wasn’t ombré because she gave me chunky highlights. I’d review this better if she didn’t try to convince me that it looked like the pic
This salon was absolutely amazing !! My friend had a hair emergency and Megan fit her in ASAP to fix it. Lakin did such a good job styling her hair after and it looked perfect. Everyone working there was so sweet and the building was very clean. I will definitely be scheduling an appointment for myself soon!
this place was amazing!!! everyone was so kind, and the place is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. i got my hair bleached, dyed, and trimmed, and was given professional work for every single portion. my hair stylist also offered to curl my hair, and i haven’t curled my hair in almost 10 years!! it was such a wonderful experience. i felt so beautiful afterwards. their prices are likewise great for the wonderful work you get, and they have a student discount for iup students. will definitely be coming back:)
My nails were so ugly, I went home and cried. I removed them myself the very next day because I did not want to be seen with them. The manicurist was so rough that one of my cuticles bled and the others felt raw. It stings to wash my hands. My nails were bumpy and uneven shapes and length. The color was see through. I asked for a certain length and the manicurist made them longer then I wanted and didnt fix them when I said they were too long. I was there 3x longer than I thought I'd be. The manicurist seemed annoyed when I asked for some things to be fixed though they told me that's what they wanted me to do if I didn't like them. I was too tired to fight after a while and just wanted to get home. I'd give them more stars because the studio was cute and seemed clean but I can't believe they made me pay for and go home with those nails. ????

I've been going here since March to get my nails done by Clarissa, who has done very clean and beautiful dip manicures on me! Super clean and cute salon with friendly staff and in a great location. They will even give you quarters for the meters!
This was my first experience at this salon and it couldn’t have been better. I received a very bad haircut from a stylist at another salon that needed fixed. Morgan took the time to talk to me about what I wanted and what she was thinking she needed to do to fix my hair. She did a great job. I am no longer embarrassed to go out in public because of my hair. I love my new very short pixie cut!
