Relatively new establishment here in Saratoga. Enjoyed our visit, but did have a couple of snags while ordering. Prices are a little steep, but that seems to be the norm these days.
Santa Barbara Char: love the sourdough bread (although it will tear up the roof of your mouth), caramelized onions and avocado were tasty. Double patties were fresh, and the was plenty of cheese. Added some A-1 steak sauce from the sauce bar for an extra punch of flavor. 8/10
Grilled chicken sandwich on sourdough: tasted good, but maybe a little too much "char" flavor. Not quite enough chicken if you ask me. 6/10
Sweet potato fries: disappointing. The flavor was good, but they were luke warm and lacked salt. 5/10
Fry sauce: nicely flavored fry sauce here. Had a bit of pickle for a slightly vinegary flavor, which I like. 9/10
Great burger... but today, I had the Cobb Salad. Extra grilled chicken. UT was really good. My 8 year old loved her kids' burger.
The customer service at the drive thru window was horrible. Worker was very grumpy. And not helpful at answering my questions about if the price was correct. I was being charged a lower amount than what was on the screen. My burger was also RAW. Not even warm in the center.
I love habit so I was very disappointed with our food. Both of our burgers were a very dark pink in the middle, which I don’t understand how that’s possible given how thin the patties are. Fries also came out stone cold, we asked for new ones and they obliged.
Just overall bad food experience.
Mandy was the best. I ended up stopping by for a burger after my round of golf on a Sunday right before they closed expecting to wait a long time which is okay, but her customer service was great! They were held up, so she ended up giving me my meal for free because of the inconvenience, thank you so much, Mandy. I hope they’re paying you well!
Last time I went to this habit I was the only car in the drive thru, maybe the only customer in the store, and they left me at the drive thru speaker for over 20 minutes. Would’ve been a lot more if I didn’t decide to reverse out of there and leave. Every so often they would say we’ll be right with you, but that obviously was not the case. Went back a week later and it was the same deal, not sure what’s the deal… never had problems with the habit before but this one is bad. Update took the food home and they got my order wrong, ordered salad and they gave me no dressing and it tastes old. Last time I go here
Well, I fell for another terrible Burger place !!! 25 minutes waiting for our food??? Cold Sweet potato Fries?? "No tomato " both $10 burgers had tomato...... why do we have these conversations.......for the Burgers....soggy greasy mess....like bottom of the barrel not fresh at all....tasteless..... over $30.00 for this food.... no no no....Hey Icecream cone and Soda were 5 stars.......so disappointing. As far as friendly staff....with a smile which means foods coming soon, just hang on.......Red Robin it is moving forward. Sorry, the negative review is deserved. I'm not making this a habit......
Waited in the drive thru line for longer than usual, which is fine if the food is fresh, but right after getting our food we sampled a fry and it was cold. They were obviously sitting waiting for the burgers to get done.
