Best KPortal Reviews
Loved it. Staff were super friendly, food was delicious, and they had some nice house cocktails as well as a massive wine list and full bar. I'd make it a point to visit anytime I'm in town. I tried the beet salad with a side of cucumber and tomato paired with the house bourbon cocktail (after my favorite scotch)
Very nice meal. Matt was a tremendous server with excellent personality. We had mushroom soup, gnocchi/pork, and peanut butter+chocolate/berry desserts. Everything was so perfectly prepared and delicious!
What an amazing experience for my wife and I. We had the best seat in the house by the fireplace. The atmosphere was excellent, and the waitstaff was friendly and attentive.
The food was off the carts. The pork was an amazing upgrade to a childhood classic and cooked to perfection. The fillet was 5 out of 5 and paired perfectly with the charred carrots. My wife and I were both very pleased with everything.
Went for a weekend breakfast, food was great! The truffle eggs are a must try. It's a flavor and texture bomb! Steak and potatoes were okay. I feel like the steak needs a sauce or something. Easy eggs with it doesn't cut it. Server was friendly and attentive. 4 stars for service because food took longer than expected. When we arrive at 9:15am, there were not a lot of people but we still waited a bit for our food. Could be better.
Great service and ambiance. Our food as excellent. The only downside was the lobster that was chewy and overcooked. Other than that, the hamachi was delicious! The truffles eggs was top notch.
Ambiance was great, presentation was good, service was great. The food itself had good attributes but nothing knocked my socks off like I was expecting. Overpriced for the flavor and quantity you get. Glad we went, and beautiful concept but not to die for food that you have to visit again and again for. We got the sweet potato rolls, the wagyu, brusselsprouts, scallops & the blackberry smash.
Had a great time eating here! The wait staff were very friendly and the food was amazing. I highly recommend trying the sweet potato rolls as an appetizer, they were the best rolls I've ever had. One negative is vegetarian options may be limited.
The Guild House offers more than just a meal—it's an immersive dining experience with an enchanting ambiance, showcasing the beauty of Columbus in every bite. The star is undeniably its ambiance—open, warm, and elegantly lit, striking a balance between comfort and sophistication. Described as artisan and creative, it leans more towards world-inspired American fine dining, making it a must-visit local favorite, even on a bustling Friday night. The food easily competes with the best in Columbus. Chef-inspired dishes ambitiously source local ingredients, resulting in unique flavor combinations like in the dumpling appetizer with a miso-like base. Unfortunately, other things like the Sea Bass with a rich broth, while the freshness was evident, some flavors lacked harmony, The meal was good, yet not exceptional compared to other options, and the plating didn't fully embody the artisan concept I had envisioned.
