We purchased 3 cheesecakes on Sat 28/04/24 and the bases on them were rock hard!! so tough to cut and literally inedible! Very disappointed as I’d heard great things on social media but don’t believe the hype Saturday 8pm and shop was empty and was served immediately. I RANG 7-8 times to speak to them as they are not supposed to be hard as rock & also DM’d on INSTA and have sent an email but 2 days later still no response. Absolutely shocking & DIRE customer service!! This place takes ur ££ and literally couldn’t care less about customers! I came from West Yorkshire to try but would never visit again! Waste of £22.50!! Won’t let me upload the video evidence and can only post pic instead.
I just had to leave a review about your Kinder 2.0 San Sebastian cheesecake - it was beyond incredible! The blend of the Kinder goodness and the creamy cheesecake was next level. Probably the best cheesecake in the UK. The sweetness and the texture of the cheesecake was perfect. Service was also very good from the TGB team in Rochdale. The shop is also very nice and beautifully lit up.
My first time going here. The cheesecake was amazing and was equally matched by the customer service, young lad with curly hair at front of house who served me was very friendly and offered recommendations. I went to the place and it was 20 minutes before closing time yesterday evening and he still was happy to help and took our order happily. The cheesecake was unlike any other, soft and creamy. Highly recommend !
The cheesecakes was absolutely banging. They were so tasty and had the perfect balance of creaminess. And let me tell you, the staff, especially the guy with the gold glasses, were proper sound. They were really kind and had great manners. It made the whole experience even better. You gotta try their cheesecakes and see for yourself, mate!
What shall I say? I am GRUMPY! This is the biggest hype and let down I have ever come across. For some reason these folk are very impressed by an inferior product dressed in sauces on social media. It has actually put me off cheesecake! The consistency of the cake was soft and runny. It had no structure and the base was solid. The taste was nothing but below average and sickly bearing in mind I only had the plain Jane. It smelt awful and so did the packaging, value for money is also disappointing. These guys need to understand what cheesecake actually is. I know I am being harsh but it's beyond disappointing after spending £8.50! I waited 10 minutes for a slice of cheesecake in a box. Should I also mention the location is terrible! Nowhere to park and service is shocking. They are all nice but lack a professional outfit. If you want to show an open kitchen then be proud and clean the place up! Very male dominated and would advise they get a female touch! The whole place is just hype! Don't understand the concept and the fuss.

The Matilda cake, also known as the Bruce baby, from The Grumpy Baker in Rochdale was absolutely delightful! The cake itself was deliciously moist and had a wonderful flavor. The gnash sauce on top was the perfect finishing touch, adding a rich and indulgent taste. It was a real treat and definitely worth trying!
