Large and spacious car park by the river with the cleanest public toilets I have ever seen.
Camper vans can park overnight and there is a shower too.
Thank you Powys Council - a brilliant public facility.
Bluith wells in the center of Wales
Fabulous place to stay .
Overnight in camper
Lovely town plenty to see
Food fab
Pubs a plenty
Situated really close to Builth Wells high street and the river Irfon that includes a nice walk and the use of fairly clean toilets.
A nice walk alongside the river. The fairground was in town and took over an area of the car park.
Great car park, especially if you're in a camper, as you can stay overnight & for a quid, you can get a shower!! Great little town too, on May & August Bank Holidays there's a rock festival, just gets better eh!
Absolutely perfect carpark for a free overnight stopover. But unfortunately that's where it ends. We would have loved to have a walk round and maybe even spend some money in the local stors. BUT the carpark is way way overpriced for the next morning. No way would we pay £5 for 2hrs to stay here. That's one of the most expensive carparks I've seen this holiday. They need to rethink the price to make it more affordable to be able to spend time here...
Top spot for travellers, no restriction on heights or width, despite a frame it's installed at the entrance.
Safe and quiet and free from 6pm to 8am.
There is also a very clean toilets and not sure if showers too.
It's allowed to stay only 1 night every 7 days.
Great if you are passing through, need a break and want to explore or sleep overnight for free!
Not so good if you live local and want to support your local Post Office or the only butcher shop for miles around (nip in and out)
£2.50 for the privalage..
