Best KPortal Reviews

Everything was awesome until I got the turkey wings with the feathers on them. Me as well as others at the bar were immediately disgusted. The owner/manager said it’s nothing they can do about that. Never came out to say anything to us. I ordered salmon. The turkey wings were never taken off of our ticket. That’s what I didn’t like about out the experience. It’s different if I said they weren’t good but the turkey wings weren’t cleaned before they cooked. But nonetheless, the service by Gentoria was amazing! The other food was great.
CONGRATULATIONS ED! 50th state, right here!!! We are @ the GRILLE HOUSE, celebrating with Kacie, Mika, Jasmone, Cynthia,
and DJ-BO, what a TEAM! The cooks, although I didn’t get their names, my food was perfect, the pork chop, collard greens (bam)! I saw reviews about the french fry because they are cut and frozen. But the cooks knew how to season them perfectly. I don’t know if it was the southern charm, or the southern hospitality of the staff, the DJ and the patrons, but we could not have picked a better place to celebrate this monumental quest. I’m so glad we made new friends.
I WOULD RECOMMEND
Jazz was phenomenal, loves her hospitality and skill. She worked amazingly with my sewing impaired aunt. Made sure she was aware of her menu options and what the drinks were made from. We really appreciate the hospitality!! Food and drinks were absolutely delicious ????????
This was our first visit. Great atmosphere, we met some nice people. We ordered wings and drinks. We received our drink order but never received our wings. The waitress kept apologizing about the wait and then gave us our check. Everyone around us were receiving their orders. My husband and I decided we were ready to leave. He asked that they remove the wings from the check. The waitress stated they were going to make her pay for the wings. I'm still trying to figure out how that is our fault. As a waitress, she should have checked with the kitchen to find out the hold-up. The manager tried to guilt trip us by stating that we was costing the waitress money. We didn't cost her anything, we never received our order and we shouldn't be expected to pay for their mistake. If it is the policy of the restaurant that the waitress pays when a customer removes something from their ticket which was never received. This is not on us. This is between the waitress and her manager.
Christina was our waitress and she did great for the large group. The BBQ platter was great. Wish they let you sub out sides, but I think they use frozen crinkle fries so I can see where it doesn't equate. Id rather then get rid rid of the awful fries and have the customer pay $2 more for their overall meal with a side choice. The pickles were good. Others at my table liked the fried pickles, frie okra, and friend green tomatoes. BBQ sauce was good.
Hot bar was closed down by 4pm on Sunday.
A friend said the chicken and waffles were just okay, the fried chicken was good but wished the sauce was more evenly distributed, and greens were not flavorful.
Bathrooms were clean and staff friendly.
I had the oxtails with greens and yams. I was a little disappointed with the oxtails as they tasted watered down with little flavor. My sister ordered the chitlins, which I tasted, and they were much more flavorful. I would probably eat here again because of the vibe and the ambiance.
As soon as I walk in....a girl at the register told me I can't come in her side, and I must go to the other side. I go to the other side and sat at the bar. Nobody said anything to me for 15 minutes. They just kept gossiping about nothing in the corner. I just walked out. !!!
Great music and atmosphere. Wish I could've stayed longer...next time
