Tried the pepperoni Bambino an it was alright ... only mine was empty pretty much ????, maybe if they put more filling inside like the cheese, an sauce it would have been a lot better.. although the breading taste like a real crispy thin fry bread with a hint of sugar!! ???? My onion rings were crispy aswell ????..
This review is based on tasting their food from their food truck at a wedding they catered. I got the classic, pepperoni, and cheese and they were all good. The dough was soft and fresh and all the ingredients blended well together. Their customer service was also great. They arrived on time, and were ready to deliver food. I haven't visited their store yet, but based on the food and service I experienced, I'd sure love to visit their store too.
We like to come here every so often for a fried hand pie. When fresh the crust is crispy and light. Fillings are pizza based with a range of choices. My favorites are the chicken ranch and the fire.
Hubby likes the calzones. DD likes the ones I do. DS likes the classic or vegetarian. Another DD likes the calzones and many of the Bambinos (little hand pies).
Food was good and fresh, onion rings were delicious. The bambino pepperoni one could have had more sauce but it was still good.
We arrived at 8:30 on Saturday evening after seeing on the door they close at 9pm. We were in the area for a family event & 30 mins to our next destination. When we ordered the girl said it had to be to go. However the couple ahead of us sat down. I got my food and was hungry so I started eating. I’m glad I did because it was 10 mins or so before the rest of my group got their food. At that point we sat and ate. I told the girl we would just stay since we had a 30 min drive & she gave us a dirty look, said something under her breath & walked off. We had 3 elderly family members with us & who wants to eat in a car in the dark? We walked out the door at 8:53p. If it’s to go orders after 8:30, why not lock the door at 8:30 & make people use the drive though? The same girl also got super close to my family to sweep & felt that was kind of rude of her to “make a point” they were closing soon, we already felt unwelcome at that point. I get she probably wanted to get out of there asap, but it shouldn’t be to the point of being rude. The food was good but a little kindness & patience go a long way. Thank you!
Had a little of everything on the menu. The Bambino is the best thing by far. We tried a few of the versions and they were all good. The pasta is not great, it reminded me of a frozen dinner quality. Fries were good, salad is simple. If you stick to what they do best you will not be disappointed. We will go again but next time focus on their main stuff.
Bambinos is one of those iconic food to go stops that visiting college students and locals alike frequent, this review comes from a variety of visitations during their hours of operation. The bambinos themselves, the classic and pepperoni are my personal favorites, and are exceptionally delicious! There are daily deals that are on repeat for each subsequent week, overall that is generally where the value is! The asking price otherwise is definitely fair for what you are getting though, even with the comparisons of inflation costs being evident in their menu pricing. The service itself was fairly prompt, despite being incredibly busy. This is definitely a must try though if you are passing through though, or a local of Rigby!
Food was as always amazing, hot and tasty. The service left MUCH to be desired. The girl who took our order kept chewing on her sleeves while serving food. Midway through enjoying our meal they turned the music up super loud and we could hardly hear each other over it. I love the food but didn’t feel welcome or like I could enjoy my experience due to their unfriendliness
