Lovely place run by lovely people. The jacket potatoes were very filling and very good value. We had a meal deal but were too full to eat the cake so we took them home to enjoy later. The photograph of the cake is just one portion! The cafe is dog friendly and the staff gave our little dog a sausage so he was happy too ????.
An impromptu visit to the coffee shop today! We were looking for a local cafe to meet up and found this hidden gem! It was very busy but we managed to get a table. The food from the neighbouring tables looked good! We ordered a meal deal consisting of a sandwich (comes with salad/crisps), cake and hot drink.
A waitress came to take our order. We couldn’t believe how popular it was and how reasonable the prices were.
When the food came, the portions were generous!! The food was fresh and tasty. We couldn’t eat the cake and asked for a box to take home.
The staff were friendly and we will definitely return again.
They had seating outside and also dog friendly! We will peruse the garden centre too as ran out of time today!!
A great little Cafe, lovely staff telling you the best specials. The prices are very realistic.

If you out Ascam Richard way this is a great little café to call into.
Our cycling club visits regularly. Not the biggest place but timed well we Always get a seat.
Just be carful mind, if there is an old lady in the corner who looks like Nora Batty keep your voices down infact probably best whispering. She doesn’t like any noise. If you overstep the mark she will aggressively reprimand you by drumming the table and shouting you down!
Will not stop us going again the food is 10/10 as are the staff.
Called in for a bacon and sausage sandwich this morning, thoroughly enjoyed it! First time here for me, definitely not the last. Good service, friendly women.

A great little find! We love popping in for a bit of lunch before heading just down the road to feed the ducks! Really good value for money (sandwich, drink and cake for £6 is a total bargain!) Dog and child friendly too. Staff always friendly
