Absolutely fantastic. Really good coffee, delicious and healthy breakfast options, spotless clean, including the toilets and most importantly, staff are so friendly and attentive, it really stands out. Perfect service, really made us feel welcome and enjoy our visit. Can't praise them enough ❤️????????
We arrived here by accident whilst heading to tesco cafe. They had stopped serving meals but when the waitress saw my granddaughters disappointed face, she spoke to the kitchen staff and they said we could order what we wanted. I had the gorgeous homemade soup with a doorstep slice of granary bread. My granddaughter had the same bread ,toasted with beans and my husband had a sausage sandwich. All of it was great but most of all the staff were amazing. Customer service at its very best. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.
Visiting Ludlow for the day one Sunday, I found this place by googling 'best breakfast in Ludlow' and The Granary Cafe came highly rated. We called ahead to see if there was space for us, which we were told there was, but didn't make a formal booking. When we arrived, we were disappointed to find the place really busy with only one table left... But, when we got to the counter we discovered that happily, it had been reserved for us! Yay! Had delicious eggs royale, great coffee (with oat milk for me) and they were great with our 4 year old daughter too. There's no specific kids menu but we ordered some breakfast 'extras' to make up a smaller plate for her. Excellent cafe!
I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt quite compelled on this occasion. Our food was delicious and presented very nicely. The cafe is furnished tastefully and has a cosy atmosphere. The toilets were modern and almost spotless. It’s on the pricier side, but for the overall experience I felt it was justified. If in Ludlow again I look forward to revisiting.
THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! Myself and a friend visited on a sunday (2nd of Feb 2020 to be exact) and we were greeted by smiles , conversation and brilliant customer service, from all staff. a pretty young girl with brown hair was most approachable and friendly. Two slightly older women who must be supervisors /managers served us cakes and drinks. They were absolutely adorable and asked us what we had been up to in the area. The breakfast was sublime! We got 2 breakfasts and by god it was both filling & tasty! The hot chocolate was creamy , very warm and delectable. I live in Yorkshire but shall be returning later this month for another breakfast :) 10 out of 10!!
Called in at lunch time, was quite busy but no problems with finding a table, which was clean and well presented. I opted for good old fish & chips, but noted that menu catered for all types (vegan, veg & meat eaters). All meat was locally sourced from local producers.
I stopped off here looking for quick sausage and egg sandwich on a days motorcycling around Shropshire . I have no complaints with the food and service. All good but seems a little pricey for sausage and egg sandwich and coffee so only 4 stars.
Bacon and egg toasted sandwich to takeaway.
Very good bread (which sadly wasn't toasted) and excellent egg, but the bacon was very poor. comprising 85% inedible fat and a dash of poor quality meat. I wouldn't usually write a bad review for such a trivial matter, but when I was asked for £7.80 for it and a can (not bottle), then erm...
We live in the finest meat producing area in the UK.
There is no excuse for that. Sorry.
