Visited while in the area for a race at Humboldt Speedway, and was not disappointed. The food was amazing, along with the service. Would definitely be back.
Service was amazing! I would give them 6 stars. We needed a good solid hometown tasty breakfast and boy did they nail it. I judge the breakfast based on how good the waffle is. You can tell they put a little extra vanilla and love in it. If you are passing through stop on by for a great hometown breakfast.
The food was excellent home cooked style, the wait staff was on the ball and everything was the way it was supposed to be. An excellent find. Cash only, no cards
It's a small little hole in the wall restaurant that mainly serves breakfast as they close at 2pm. Serving staff is friendly enough, but I especially liked the appreciation for our vets and military decoration-wise.
The menu makes it sound like you get a tad bit more for your money, but I was happy with it overall.
Our waitress was very friendly. It was a very nice atmosphere for our whole group to sit and talk while we sat and ate. I ordered the double bacon cheese burger for lunch because I was told their burgers were not big but did not feel hungry again until 9:30 that night !???? Their burgers come with about every kin6of potato you can think of... I got Suzie Q's... they were nice and hot. All five of us that ate together were happy with our choice for our lunch and everybody left full!!
CASH ONLY, but they do have an atm inside!!! Such a wonderful homey hidden gem. I got the Country breakfast with the Belgian waffle and my husband got the cheese burger with curly ques. My waffle was so light and crispy and my eggs were cooked perfectly. My husband said his burger was great and his fries were fresh and crispy.
My brother and I had the omelet and it wasn't really an omelet. It was a scrambled egg with ingredients formed in to some what of a omelet.
Another reason for the one star is that we both didn't get a proper order of hashbrowns. It was half a order of hasbrowns.
We also got a side order of gravy. The gravy tasted like it was from a powder gravy that you can get from Walmart.
I am not trying to put this place down by any means I am just trying to help you better improve your restaurant and maybe change a few things about your restaurant. I know it may cost a little bit extra but maybe use real milk and make a roux to make it thick. I know in a small restaurant like this it is hard to make sure you can find people to make the gravy the right away every time.
If I ever come back to kansas I will stop by here again and give it another chance.

Fantastic place for a sit-down meal. The only thing that might affect my review is the lack of payment options. No card option was a bit of a surprise. Luckily, we had cash.
