Great wee friendly welcome from such a warm and hospitable landlord and lovely fellow customers. Amazing furniture behind the bar, that's been there since the pub opened in 1902. And the first time we've seen all drink cans upside down before and when we asked ehy, more hygienic was the reply. We shall return. Thank you.
A proper old man's pub with a friendly atmosphere, good service & a good pint, would definitely return.

No food, but it has a nice vibe, if you like football. Saturday afternoon and what looked like the entire Rothesay football team showed up, chatting with the locals and having a good time. The vibe was good.
What a great pub with really friendly locals. We went in for one and ended up there three consecutive days. There's a good selection of beers and lagers but also some great spirits. Tommy the singing landlord is all the entertainment you need. Looking forward to going back.
Superb bar, excellent choice of drinks, great atmosphere. Properly dog friendly. A definite visit when in Rothesay.
