Brilliant pub best in whitby. Landlord and lady amazing. A must visit
We were 2 couples on a week’s holiday. First impressions, thought everywhere good do with a good clean but you find these sort of pubs end up being the best. But that theory wasn’t to be with this place. Very unpleasant barman, we spent a good amount of money in here but got the feeling our faces didn’t fit. Landlord was very arrogant, didn’t even have the courtesy to look at my husband while he tried to make conversation. Some really good pubs have had to shut after falling on hard times. Shame it didn’t happen to this place. Doesn’t deserve people’s hard earned money to keep this place open. Disgusting service.
Lovely little Irish pub, great decor, great choice of drinks at very reasonable prices. The woman behind the bar was lovely and helpful.
just popped in for a drink very small irish pub, but it had two rooms. The atmosphere was ok customers were nice good selection of beers and ciders etc only comment is it was very cold in there despite the small room being full had a fire but it wasn't on
What an amazing pub great atmosphere and great staff. I've had a quite a few nights in there and go every time I'm in whitby. Especially good when the people play the music
Hubby and I had a great Monday night whilst staying in Whitby. Popped into the town for a Guinness and food, but enjoyed the atmosphere and live music in this quaint Irish pub so much we were too late for food by the time we left the pub (lol ????) so we ended up calling for a takeaway pizza ???? . Will certainly revisit the next time we're in Whitby.
For a so called Irish pub and being Irish myself this place served without doubt the poorest pint of Guinness I’ve had in a long time , the glass was dirty and the amount of bubbles in the head was ridiculous, perhaps time out to teach your staff how to pour a pint wouldn’t go amiss , for shame ????
We were in Whitby for the day and just called in it turned out to be an Irish bar great atmosphere with Irish music don't think they sell food though
