My wife raves about there curry sauce every time we visit family in Greenock she wants golden dragon curry but me personally think it's over priced for the portions you receive also think it All starts tasting very salty and samey had a special foo Yung dish and was like find the egg but think they do the best prawn crackers and nice hot bags of chips.
Very simply, over priced, tiny portions. I was charged £9.50 for a breast of chicken curry with fried rice. It was produced in two small tin containers which were shallower than normal and it had no onions in it. Chicken was tough. Curry not as tasty as it used to be.
Love golden dragon but wen u get a large curry sauce its watered down....no taste n just water never again.. will make my own sauce from now on
The best Chinese in greenock, the curry sauce is perfect! Any Chinese I've had from anywhere else, doesn't compare!!
Always friendly, polite, caring and cheery customer service at Lynedoch Street, the food is always dynamite and properly portioned and presented.
The order is usually salt and chilli chicken, salt n chilli chips curry sauce.
I also sometimes order a chicken chow mein.
The veg such as peppers used in their dinners is always fresh and chips always crispy and not bland or left to go rubbery in a hotplate,
Curry sauce can be a tad thick at times but easily solved with some hot water, it's not like the congealed stuff, a lot of the other takeaways will sell you a tub of yungs curry mix with extra cornflower.
Been going there for years now and highly recommend their place over anywhere else in Greenock, and the surrounding area for that matter. It's a Five star, A+++ from us.

Love the curry sauce but a bit pricey
This Chinese takeaway has the best curry sauce in the town, been a customer for almost 10 plus years, delivery is always on time,
food is disgusting and over priced for the tiny portions.
