No mask policy; guests did not have to wear masks, workers did not wear masks. Two of the most popular dishes (which were the exact dishes my friends and I were going to order) the Duck Ravioli and Rabbit Pot Pie were sold out. Very dark, empty. 3/4 dishes of food were good. Do not get the braised short rib, that was the terrible one. Appetizers were tasty.
The food is absolutely great. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. First night we went all of us ordered the tenderloin. It was absolutely delicious. All 5 of them came out perfect. We also ordered the poutine appetizer. It was HUGE. The fresh cheese curds were great!
We just returned for lunch today and had the Kobe beef burger. Again cooked perfect and accompanied with the fries it was delicious. We ended with the locally sourced Blueberry Butter Cookie Gelato. I highly suggest and recommend going.
Charming, lovely spot for elegant, yet simple, and delicious, bites! The trout is excellent, plated beautifully, and wholly satisfying for the portion. If your appetite calls for more, the 1/2 chicken was serious business, and still a beautiful twist on a classic dish. We were pleasantly surprised to find this gem in downtown Bangor, Michigan. For soon to be mainly locally sourced and farm to table food, the price was reasonable, and the atmosphere is very relaxing and easy to enjoy. Highly recommend stepping out of the norm and into an elevated taste. Thanks to Brad and his partner, Dustin for taking a huge leap in this corner of Southwest Michigan. Keep on keeping on, my friends!
Hidden Gem!! Our visit was wonderful. The food was excellent. I had the house burger and, OMG, the best burger I have ever put in my mouth. I also loved the kobe fries. Our server took great care of us. We will be going back to experience the dinner menu before we leave.
Absolutely delicious! I had the poutine and the rainbow trout and they were both perfectly executed dishes. I love that they source locally, down to serving Brix soda! Impressive and exotic menu. The interior has been beautifully remodeled. This place is an absolute delight!
I took my wife there for her birthday on a Sunday about 2pm. There was only a lunch sandwichy menu which was disappointing after an hour drive to get there. No adult beverages, bummer. My wife got chicken Alfredo which I didn't taste but she said it was bland and really not too good. I got the pork schnitzel sandwich which was good and trucker size. The pop is ok and from a Grand Rapids company. Well give them a try for dinner sometime but lunch was a bust.
Although I will agree the food was excellant it was not worth the price. I had the trout for $17 and my plate consisted of a 1/2 trout on the small size and a slice of squash. No salad and/or rolls. My husband ordered the tenderloin, medium rare, it was raw, sent it back and they took so long that the rest of us finished eating and waited before he even received his meal.
The service was great! I ordered a burger & fries cause everything else had titles I've never heard of & pics available looked too fancy & small amounts for my liking, aside of menu, place is nice & clean & staff is wonderful! But don't take my word for it, go experience it yourself
