I was in town over the weekend. A family member recommended I try the restaurant. I was there with a couple of family members and we really enjoyed the experience. We came during brunch time and it was delightful not overcrowded at that moment. Park was easy and there was no wait time. I enjoyed sitting so close to the windows so I can see things happening out on the street. Staff was friendly and thorough. The food was great. The prices were not bad at all. I enjoyed the spacious and eclectic taste of the restroom. A nice way to end my trip in the city.
We held a retirement party at the Goat RiverSouth last night for Jason Thomas, who dutifully served the Supreme Court of Ohio for 20 years as a bailiff/court security officer. The care and attention of the Goat’s team, including Tyler and Megan, made this party a night to remember. Guests commented on how good the food was – the crispy curry cauliflower and the Italian pizza rolls were favorites. Family arrived an hour ahead to decorate, and the area was already set up with black linens, two beautiful flower arrangements, and a water dispenser and glasses. Food was brought out on time, and music was turned down to allow Jason to deliver a speech filled with gratitude. We would especially like to thank manager Tyler Bletz for all the work in making this party a success. He is a true professional, and the Goat is lucky to have him.
Came in after cap city 5k, and table service was good but food was trickling out, it was still a great experience with fantastic food and chill environment. I got "The Goat Burrito" and it was extremely tasty and great for an after run meal. Their full menu sounds great. I'd come back again sometime.
14 of us had brunch here before a wedding. The service was amazing and very accommodating. Stacey did a phenomenal job waiting on 14 hungry and thirsty men. The food was amazing, recommend the breakfast tacos and the goat burrito. The queso and sauce on the burrito was spectacular.
Ordered delivery. The chicken bacon ranch mac. It was 18$ and the portion size was ridiculously small. It seemed like a side order. For 18$ you think you would get at least a full sized meal. Tasted good but only for the 5 bites it took me to eat it.
12/21/23-my second time visiting The Goat with some coworkers for a few celebratory occasions. We had a few cocktails, a few appetizers, and humorous and informative conversations. We had a great time. Thank you to our server, Megan. I added a few more pics. I recommend parking at the nearby garages during the weekdays if going during happy hour.
Modernly decorated restaurant with a complimentary color palette that provides comfortable seating and good dining. Today was my first time visiting The Goat in downtown area and enjoyed my visit. I had their Smokehouse Cheddar Burger with fries and it was delicious. Nice crowd. Friendly and fast service. Paid metered parking out front. Free to park after a certain time. Decent prices.
Foodnwas absolutely amazing. The service I was disappointed in. It was not busy at all but yet could never find our server. Sat for about 10 minutes without a server or drinks and was hard to get a drink. Food was so good I will be back and hope for better service.
I have a sensitive stomach, so I ordered the goat chicken sandwich plain with pickles and mayo. The chicken sandwich is one of my favorite and most eaten food items. Theirs was easily one of the top 10 I've eaten in my entire life. It was flavorful, rich, and juicy. It was not overcooked, it was not greasy. It sat perfectly well in my stomach and I feel great. Portion was not too big or too small. Fries were hot and crispy. Service was great and time was reasonable based on occupancy. Will come back
