A hidden gem. Found them on a road trip and knew it would be nice.
A little place down the road from the highway but not too far out of the way.
Menu is standard cafe fare, service is great and the place quaint. They are able to accommodate gluten free patrons.
Not a big restaurant, maybe seats 35 inside and a dozen at the outside patio. Great views of the mountains and surroundings. Worth the trip down the road if you are in the area.
After staying at the casino nearby, my wife and I visited for breakfast. The restaurant is just off Interstate 68, and is welcoming and clean. I had the western omelette and a pancake, she had French toast and biscuits with gravy. Everything was delicious. The pancake was fluffy and the size of a dinner plate, the coffee was solid, my omelette was great, and we split the biscuits and gravy, which I liked very much. If you're in the area, I recommend visiting without any hesitation. (P.S. This breakfast is infinitely better than any casino buffet down the road, and is half the price)
Headed up 68 to get to Morgantown and was looking for something near cumberland to get lunch. This little place is perfect. It has a small menu but that just means the people who can never decide what to get don't have to struggle as hard. Also while the choices may be limited i feel that every option is something anyone could come in and want to eat. Serves breakfast all day.
I had french onion soup which i didn't even think to take a picture of because it smelled so good i didn't wait to eat it. And yeah I only ordered the club sandwich with fries but the sandwich was refreshing and tasted good. And the fries, maaaaan, the fries are awesome. They arent frozen supermarket fries ( at least from what i can tell) they seem like the kind of fries that came from a freshly cut and deep fried potato from home. My 1 year old ate em up.
Its small. Its homey and comfortable. It has outside seating. And its right off the highway which you can jump right back on when you're done. Its a great place. The "girls" are friendly. And overall its a nice little place to stop and eat.
Great service, relatively quick, great food! Stopped in for breakfast while camping in Green Ridge. The coffee is good, and our food came out pretty quick. It was hot and perfectly cooked, and everything was reasonably priced. I will definitely stop here on my next trip!
An interesting little place. It's very small, but not in a cramped sort of way. The ceilings are high, with a few animals mounted on the walls. It has a very homey feel. The service is much the same. Maybe a little slow, but friendly and helpful. The food is impeccable.
Very highly recommended! Excellent service great food expertly prepared at an even better price, the coffee was so good I could sit here and drink it all day long.
Great service, great food! We made a pit stop on our road trip. It's located right off the highway. Plenty of parking. Service was polite and quick. The tables were full of regulars, but we got seated right away. Make sure you order the pancakes!!!
Warm atmosphere, food was great , staff and service were on point and friendly. Definitely dining again!
