A “2 week” job took over 2 months. They ordered the wrong gearbox and then charged me for collection of the correct one.
Car has now been collected and an engine oil leak has been identified. I have spoken with the staff and they told me they noticed it during the change but failed to let me know. The gearbox now needs to come out to fix it, for which they have quoted me another full day’s work.
When I have questioned this I have been told that they were told to fix the gearbox, so they did. And that the seal, which is connected to the gearbox, was not their problem.
Absolutely avoid this garage. Had my car for a week and did nothing to it, phoned me to come and pick it up and it wasn't done. They then had my car for another week, changed the selector but put completely the wrong one in which "looked the same" so the car was missing 3 out of 6 gears. Gearbox specialists? No, Absolute joke

This garage only one in Great Yarmouth regarding to gearbox issues so think twice before u going to use service from this garage. I would recommend if you just want to change oil in gearbox then ask your mechanic if he can do it because you can safe at least 100£.
I can understand that someone can setup any price for service if there is no choice. "2 measure then cut"

In my time of need when my vehicle was brought in by Green Flag, they sorted me out very quickly and were totally honest about what my car required. Excellent service and I'd certainly recommend anyone with a gearbox fault to use them.
